This is definitely a special place. Walked in for a cup of coffee because the shop called to me and I walked out with the best pastry I have had outside of France. Might be one of the best pasties ever now that I think of it. Oh, and the guy behind the counter gamely conversed with me in French for as far as my mastery would go (almost through the ordering process). Wonderful place, and done right. A new favorite.

It is a place that from the moment you walk in life, the air you breathe, and emotions are all so much better. I loved walking into this place and seeing not an over abundance of food, but just enough to be sensible about ordering. The staff spoke French and English very well and I felt as if I was back in Europe all over again. Oh, it almost escaped me. The pastries were to die for. Fresh well made and of quality products. I will return again and again!!!!!

This place is a hidden gem! Absolutely delicious food! We got a merveilleux, a pistachio paris brest, and they were out of this world. They were so many other things we wanted to try, but we were visiting there for one day and had other things planned. Would definitely stop again! There can be a little line but totally worth the wait!

This is a hopping, little French patisserie with delicious baked goods. We especially enjoyed the mango panna cotta and the apple turnover. I could eat one of those turnovers for breakfast every day! We gave 4 stars instead of 5, because the place is a little cramped and there is not very much seating.

French. Very French pastries. Almost nothing savory. But good. There is very little seating but you can make it work. The almond croissant was crunch and flaky. They bring you water. The staff are nice.

Elegant little cafe in the middle of Dupont Circle. The hot chocolate was perfect: real chocolate, not overly saccharine and not overwhelmingly rich. The cannele was custardy soft on the inside and had a nice crust on the outside. Again, not too sweet. The pistachio croissant looked divine: can’t wait to try it! The interiors are pretty too, and seems like it’s a popular date spot 😊

One of my favorite bakeries and coffee shops in the DuPont area. I love stopping by here for a mocha and something sweet to catch up with friends or for coffee meetings. Happened to stop by there to catch with a colleague on a Wednesday late in the morning. Here are my takeaways. Environment small quaint and cute coffee shop located close to DuPont circle. This place has a few seats for patrons inside and just a few outside for sipping and people watching. It's a bright, friendly atmosphere and a great place for solo coffees and a book or to catch up with a friend. They sometimes can busy and it can be hard to find a place to sit especially outside so be ready to have to wait or get your order to go. Service You order at the counter and pay while the barista makes your drink or gathers your pastry. You can then find a seat inside, outside or to go. All the staff are friendly and helpful and provide a welcoming environment. Food and Drinks The pastries are tasty and delicious and the coffees and mochas are top notch. I recommend trying a few things off the menu as I do every time i visit. Overall Overall this is a great place for pastries and coffees. It's one of my favorite places to bring people to to catch up. The pastries and the drinks are great and you will leave satisfied and ready to come back for more. Highly recommend.

I am of French heritage, and I have never found a better chocolate croissant in the US! Not even in New York where I live for 25 years. The croissants are flaky, crispy on the outside, soft, layered, and lightly buttery in the inside. The chocolate is perfection! I recommend the croissants, chocolate croissants and chocolate twists. If you crave true French pastries in a small patisserie atmosphere, I would highly recommend this. Illy coffee, Le Palais des thes teas, Emile Vergeous juices, and La Fermiere yogurt are available to accompany your pastries. It’s near Dupont Circle, and the pastries are made fresh every morning by French pastry chefs. The vibe is simply charming, relaxing, clean, and Parisian. ❤️

The best Pistachio Croissant in the whole world. Totally fell in love with the coffee, croissants and the vibe of the place. Since the first time this place has made to "must-go" list on Greater Washington area. Highly recommend this place, can't wait to go back

Insta: dmv_reels Good place for pastries! It's my second time there and this time I got pistachios croissant and decaf latte. I like their plain croissant better. Crispy!

Delicious baked treats, loved the pear tart. Pistachio chocolate Croissant was a little burnt and had bitter taste. But overall good pastries and nice vibe.
