A pleasant surprise! Never thought the interior would be sleek and modern. I wanted to get dim sum but unfortunately they only serve it for lunch.
Everything was delicious but the crispy noodles were our favorite. We like the generous amounts of vegetables in the dishes we ordered.
We’re looking forward to coming back for dim sum.
A late birthday celebration with my family today. 1st time here, and I'll be back! Tried some new things and some familiar dishes, and they were all delicious! Staff is so nice and spot on with service. Definitely worth a visit!
We came here on a Sunday with a big group for lunch to celebrate birthdays. We had 23 in the group and had a 35 minutes wait. They were willing to put us all at separate tables to accommodate our big party. Service was fast. Food tasted delicious. But we did not realize that plates were sharable portions, so we took a lot home. I highly recommend the calamari and all the fried rice. Put that leftover topping from the calamari onto of the rice, yum!
Have heard about this restaurant for a long time but never had the chance to go. Lunch today, we ordered Singapore Noodles (Mei Fun). While it tasted a little sweeter than we're used to, it was delicious. The hostess was smiling & friendly, and our server was terrific! Service was extremely quick, so if you're on your lunch hour, it's good. They also have Dim Sum. We'll definitely try them again.
So upset I wasn’t able to take any pictures, but I promise nothing disappoints. The food was absolutely delicious and you could tell it is prepared fresh. And talk about the menu?! It’s got so many options you have a hard time choosing what to order! Relatively cheap prices for the large portion you receive.
Our service was great, and the inside was modern and very clean.
I come here a lot. Like at least once a week if not more. I would say this is the best Chinese food in sarasota, by far. Very authentic (given u don’t order American Chinese food from the menu) but it is very close to what I eat at home. I would highly recommend anyone to this place. They also have a tampa location which is bigger and more selections as well.
Very happy I discovered Yummy! Salt & Pepper Calamari: very crispy yet delicate fried batter. Tasted sneakily of a beer batter. The Calamari was perfectly tender and moist! Tossed with a mix of chopped green onions, sliced jalapeños, and seasoning. Highly recommended! Mongolian Beef: large portion. It doesn't come with anything. Don't expect a side of rice or anything. You get the main dish only, but it is a lot of food. I ate it all and thought I was gonna die after (in a good way LOL!). Beef perfectly cooked with onion and zucchini (that a pleasant addition). The sauce was glossy and a nice consistency as it should be (none of that over thickened sticky mess). However, it was MUCH sweeter than expected. Probably the sweetest beef dish I have ever tasted. Not sure if that is normal for them or if someone had a "whoops" in the kitchen. The heat from red chilies was overtaken by sweet. It didn't ruin the dish, but darn near. I would compare the sauce to the sweet onion flavors found in a lot of bulgogi dishes.
The place is rather spartan, but everything else was WOW! There 2as a screw up with our order not getting printed. Not a problem with us. It was our 66th Anniversary! So, we weren't in a hurry
Nevertheless, the manager brought us luscious spring rolls to make up for the good.
Our dinners were awesome and our server was equally great.
Warning! The portions are HUGE!
We'll be back!
Always great food!! I wish they had chicken or shrimp egg rolls in addition to vegetable spring rolls. The staff is always friendly and attentive.
Best restaurant for Chinese food/ Cantonese style.
This was excellent and I am not usually a huge fan of Chinese food. This is my new fav. Great food. We had beef chow fun and cashew chicken. Loved both. Wonton soup and pot stickers were good too!
