This place is an absolute must, at least twice, each time we venture down to Siesta Key. I just wish they still had the peanut butter and jelly flavor!

This is some of the best ice cream we have had!!! Dare I say it's better than Big Olaf?!? I think it is! I tried the honey bourbon pecan and the sea salt caramel. Amazing!!! My friend had the gator tracks and loved it. Go try it. You will be so glad you did.
Great ice-cream just a block off the beaten path. Probably best ice-cream in Sarasota. It's a bit hidden but worth it! Made in small batches. Very tasty! Staff is friendly and helpful. Large portions.
We visited here as it was one of the most highly rated ice cream shops in Sarasota, our son had vanilla which he loved, my wife had an amazing key lime ice cream and I went for two scoops; coffee crunch and salted caramel.
The portion sizes are huge and it is well priced for a tourist destination. We couldn’t actually finish the ice creams as were we full. Parking is a little confusing but we do love this place and will be back when we are in the area again.

The wife and I stopped here after our dinner as it was just a short walk away from the restaurant. Small and unassuming, they had a wide range of ice cream flavors and the servings were way bigger than I thought they would be. Service was fast and efficient, both gals working behind the counter kept the line moving at a nice clip.
I had their Kentucky Honey Bourbon ice cream with the Cherry Chocolate Chunk - My wife had the same Cherry Chocolate Chunk alone. Very creamy and delicious. It was a nice, quick stop to top off a dinner out.

I had a non-local who regularly visits that suggested I try the Orange Octopus, and my family was extremely pleased with the ice cream. It's a drive for us to get to Siesta, but OO has now made us reconsider making more trips out that way! We got chocolate and coffee ice cream. Both were excellent.
Chocolate peanut butter, made with dark chocolate and swirls of peanut butter is the best I've had in the state of Florida. I really hate when companies put in those hard tasteless peanut butter cups. It ruins the ice cream! Also had the Dutch chocolate, and coffee crunch. Both flavors were delicious. This ice cream is homemade and delicious.
This is some of the BEST ice cream anywhere. Hands down best ice cream in Siesta Key. Sea Salt Caramel flavor is a must! The kids that work there are pleasant and service is quick despite a long line. Don’t waste time with ice cream places in the village.
Went here with my best friend after a beach day under the hot, scorching sun! My friend got the Dutch chocolate (left) and I got the key lime pie flavor (right). They were so good and really helped to cool us down. The key lime pie had a graham cracker swirl which was SOOOO yummy and my friend’s flavor was so rich and comforting. The atmosphere is so cute and quaint, we will definitely be coming back! :)
Our fav ice cream spot on the planet. We’ve been visiting the Siesta Key location since it opened, and continue to look forward to it each year we travel to Florida. My kids have grown up telling everyone Orange Octopus is the best!! Great flavors, kind and patient employees, cute beachy shop, fun walkable location…Wish we could open our own OO back home!
The Salted Caramel ice cream is THE BEST my husband and I have ever had! Top it with extra pecans for a match made in ice cream heaven!
