Haven't been to this location for a long time probably 2 years. I heard from a coworker that the ownership changed to another brother so had to give it another try. I was so pleased to have back the recipes that their were before. Still give out complimentary chips, salsa, queso with your meal and don't forget the fresh sopapilla after your course. Had the beef fajitas and they were so good. Service was outstanding
This is the most polite staff of any place we frequent. They don't get mad at you if you eat too many Salsas Like Azteca does. The meals are served so fast, you don't go through baskets of chips and salsa waiting for your food. They keep your drinks filled constantly, unlike Azteca, so drink all the tea you want! Unlike Azteca, you see the same faces every time you go and they are always happy to see you. Unlike Azteca, you always get relish and tortillas while waiting on your food. Unlike Azteca, you get a complimentary Sopapilla with butter and honey. They have added to their menu and have specialty salsa also. Try these people and see for yourself!
OK, here it is I wasn't a fan of chelinos haven't been in in many yrs. Reason many yrs ago they were good but then they grew got bigger and quality changed. So today to my surprise the food was really good, huge portion servings. Service was amazing, place could use a face lift but I say chelinos is back on my radar.
I prefer this Chelino’s over any of them, it’s small, but the food is always good, all the staff helps each other. Great place for lunch if you are in a hurry and also a great place for Dinner
It's was a nice time, I enjoyed my experience. I only wish my daughter would have gotten something she liked cause she ordered taco salad, and I think it was about 90% lettuce. I'll most likely go there again, but I'm gonna try Ted's next time.
I love eating here! Delicious! Clean! Fast! Friendly! Great prices!
We've been going to Chelino's every time we pass through Oklahoma City. We started at the Bricktown location. This is the 3rd location we've been to. As usual, the food was fantastic! The shredded beef enchiladas are my favorite!
The fajita was absolutely delicious! Our waiter was also among the best waiters we’ve ever had at a restaurant
It's really hard to complain about chilenos. This is a seriously good Mexican restaurant.
We split the big special, basically a combination of enchiladas, tamales and tacos. Far too big for even two people. We took leftovers of course.
We also had three house margaritas. Great but a bit pricey at 8 bucks each.
Bottom line was about 60 bucks with tip. See the pictures.
It’s cheap, like you’re proper full when you finish your meal and you ain’t spend that much money. For 2 lunch specials and 2 desserts it only cost me 23$ or something around that.
The queso is a bit watery but it’s complimentary with chips so who cares about that. The service is good, the food is cheap and tasty. Overall a solid spot. It doesn’t quite hit the same way like places closer to the border but it’s still good for Oklahoma!
The chimichanga is actually reasonably sized and won’t leave ya feeling sick after finishing it. Overall this place is great, come by if ya want some cheap good mexican food
