Favorite Burger joint in okc. Do they always open on time? No. Do they always have enough seating for their guests? No. That being said.
Its the only burger joint I willingly show up to 20 minutes before they open so I will be sure to get one of the first burgers off the grill. Very delicious. You can't go wrong eating here.

CASH ONLY! But there is an ATM next door you can use in a pinch. As soon as I walked in the door I was asked what I wanted to drink and served immediately. There's only a burger or cheeseburger on the menu, so they will get a patty on the grill pretty quick after you walk in. Halfway through I was asked what I wanted on the burger, so this is where you order extras or anything else you'd like. The fries are pretty basic on their own, so I highly recommend adding the creole seasoning, it's a perfect match. They're very good with refills on the drink, and you pay before you leave. If you don't catch a seat when you first walk in, one will very likely open up while you're waiting for the food.
If you play PokémonGO there are two stops to spin while you wait, and low spawn rates.
Stopped in here while driving through Oklahoma on a road trip. Saw this place on the diners drive ins and dives list and thought it was worth checking out. Small and quaint exactly how it was described.
There are only two options on this menu, a burger and a cheeseburger. I would have gotten more toppings like bacon or jalapeños but was never asked. All good. Burger was juicy and delicious as is.
The fries left a lot to be desired. Not sure if the oil was old or what, but they had a burned taste even though they clearly were not.
I’d stop by for a burger again, skip the fries.
Burgers or Cheeseburgers, and fries. I got a burger with mayo, ketchup, cheese and onions.
The food was good, but nothing super special. The fries are skinny curly fries and bland at first but I added salt and the creole seasoning and they were very good!
The staff was short a staff member so it was a one man show, and he did an incredible job with his assembly line style grilling. But, he didn't wear any plastic gloves and was hand touching lettuce, tomatoes, buns, etc and then touching the calculator to add up the food since it's cash only, and then taking the cash without washing his hands in between so... there's that.
There are about 10 (maybe fewer), bar stools at the counter, 2 - 2 person tables, and like 4 or 5 stools to sit on. We got there 10minutes before 11am and they opened around 11:10am (again, they said someone didn't show who was supposed to be there, but after reading other reviews the opening late seems to be more than just once).
You do want to get there early if you go because there were 2 people ahead of us, and another 5 behind us before 11am. By the time we left there was a line out the door and the place was jammed.
CASH ONLY. $15 for a combo with fries, cheeseburger and a drink, so for a family of 4 (2 adults 2 kids) we were in $70+ with tip for a burger.
Fun to stay we've been there, it's a fun place to go to once or if you're a regular and grab something with 1 or 2 people, but not something we'd do as a family all the time.
Delicious burger. The fries are not my favorite. They lack seasoning. I would prefer to have just the burger and skip on the fries. Keep in mind that the hours posted say they open at 11… take that with a grain of say as they may open at 11:20 while they set up
Burger was not that good, bunch of grease, fries taste it, sour
Iconic burger grilled onions and fries— small walk-in strip counter that l hear has the line outside on some days— looked like most was getting to go orders
But l sat down
Sweet tea was on point and the texture of the meat was cooked well
Certain hours of operation makes it a planned adventure or they will be closed if you casually go there
I drove by once and couldn’t find it… the building looks like a house on the corner
Total was around 20 not bad
Because l couldn’t finish it all— I took a to go —
Hands down the BEST burger in OKC!! You’ll have to call your grandma and apologize for straying.
