I was pleasantly surprised how good the food was. We’ve been coming here for a while. We did the arboretum on a Friday night and then came here afterwards for dinner. Good way to spend a Friday night in December.
Service took a little longer than usual. They seemed short handed so consequently it took a while to get the food but it was worth the wait. I got the Chicken Fried Steak ($28) and my wife got the Fall Salad ($15) plus an extra side of Green Beans ($6).
The green beans were amazing. Highly recommend and I’m not a big green beans person. These were really good. The salad was tasty too so if you’re in the mood for a good salad, the Fall Salad is a good choice. Chicken Fried Steak was good too. It wasn’t bland like some can be. Good overall flavor and I really liked the Cream Corn. As you can see from the photo it’s not your average cream corn. It’s good and thick.
A good place for a date night dinner. Ask to sit next to the fire. We’ll be back.
Best customer service ever! Nicest people! Sat down, gave us free salmon appetizer before we even ordered drinks! The food was great! Hubs wasn’t a fan of the grits but I thought they were fine. Overall amazing experience! Go try it!
We had a wonderful dinner for three on Thanksgiving Day at Flint. Our server Nadia was attentive, effective and enjoyed my 7th grade humor..or so it seemed. The TG Day fixed price meals @ $70 each were wonderful with large servings: ham, turkey or prime rib. The three sides (choice from seven) were well prepared and some unique tastes were outstanding. The Tomato Bisque and Herb Roasted Butternut Squash with Créme Fresh were superb: each had a mild spicy bite. The desserts topped off the meal: apple cobbler or pumpkin tartlet. Several staff stopped by regularly to clear dishes and make sure all was well.
Very nice restaurant and friendly service. The food very delicious and fresh. Our server is Kyle he just start work here for few days sometime he did not know about the detail for menu but he try to find out for us. He is very nice. All the food we order we love it every dishes. We glad to try this place even we saw some bad review about the food but we got very good food here. We will be back.
Just the best of the best. The food was beyond incredible, especially the breakfast appetizer fruit parfait. Honestly the freshest and best fruit I've ever tasted. And our chicken and waffles and omelette were amazing as well. And to top it off we had an awesome waiter. I cannot remember his name because I'm terrible at names but he was funny and engaging and quick with everything! Highly, highly recommend this spot!
We had an excellent experience (our best in OKC so far) at The Flint on Thanksgiving Day. The food and service were both excellent and on par with world-class restaurants. Thanks Flint for making our special day (holiday & birthday!) very enjoyable.
Note: This restaurant has been recently renovated and feels brand new, with a very upscale vibe. All seating is also very uncomfortable and nice windows throughout.
This place is as bougie as it gets!
Good food, an the expensive side, but we’ll worth it.
Only complaint is that the waiter never wrote anything down, so he forgot simple things like my lemonade and jalapeños.
Other than that the service was excellent. The bar here is top notch, I’d be surprised if you asked for a drink and they didn’t know how to make it.
My buddy said that they had the best old fashion he’s ever had. Definitely will come back.
I visited on a Sunday evening (so I probably didn't need a reservation) and the all the staff I interacted with were very welcoming and kind. I started off with a very nicely balanced rye Manhattan and filled that with the fillet. The cut and seasoning were excellent although it might have been cooked a tad hot based on the doneness gradient from the exterior char to middle (still very well cooked, just being picky).
Server was great. Very helpful and knowledgeable on the menu. Will come back again.
Had an amazing anniversary dinner, started with the coconut scallops and jerk sauce, and for our main course we shared a 14 ounce ribeye steak, cooked perfectly, mashed potatoes and green beans, and our 2nd was gnocchi and tenderloin, with mushrooms, and gorgonzola sherry cream sauce. Everything was awesome, including our staff. An exemplary evening.
