I went for their popular Roast Beef Thursday Blue Plate. It was very delicious. The total bill with a drink was less than $10 and enough food for two. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I would like to come back and try a different special as I've heard their daily dishes are very good. I would definitely recommend the product, portion, and price. This is a no frills type of place in terms of atmosphere and plate presentation. But if style is what you are looking for, there are many options in downtown OKC where you will spend $20+ for lunch. But if you want a great meal for a bargain price, Sweets and Eats is sure to impress.
Yum. Very good homemade food, the chicken fried steak was actually fried in a skillet and the mashed potatos and gravy were homemade. Will go again soon
Awesome!. Love the blue plate specials! Pot Roast on Thursdays is the best. Be prepared for a nap cause its just like mom makes. Make sure you get some desert cause it is the best. Strawberry cake is my favorite

Outside of the new Nebu and Italian Express, this is my favorite downtown lunch spot! Their pot roast Thursday special is legendary!

WOW!!. This place is the best lunch spot in Downtown OKC. Large portions, cheap prices,friendly staff, not to mention the great food like mom used to make. I cannot imagine a better value.

This is one of my all time favorite places to eat Downtown OKC or anywhere. They have a delicious everyday menu and a to-die-for daily blue plate special ranging from my all time favorite fried catfish to chicken pot pie, turkey & dressing, and much more. The staff is forever friendly & welcoming & the price is always perfect. Not related to the owners or staff, just a die hard regular that loves this place.
If you're in downtown OKC on a Thursday, S&E's roast beef special is a good try. I've had most of their other menu too and it's pretty good. Don't forget the strawberry cake!
This place has excellent food and fast service. Arrive early for blue plate turkey and roast. It is busy.
It's a lovely little lunch place with good home-style food and friendly staff. The turkey and dressing blue plate is my favorite, but I enjoy most of their specials.

Sweets and Eats Cafe is phenomenal. Blue plate special is my favorite. The atmosphere, service, and food are great.
The food is good, the price is affordable and the place is clean and cozy. I ordered taco salad and it was good and the portion is big.
