Dicono di noi: My family and I visited Barberino de Mugello on a Monday evening which was not a great idea as most restaurants are closed. Having wandered for a good while we found Barone Rosso. It appears to be mostly a venue for locals - which we obviously weren’t- but we were extended a warm welcome and offered a table for dinner. A friend of the restaurant’s owner became our waitress as she spoke good English. The staff were all friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had an enjoyable meal. We all had pizza and they were all delicious. At the end of the meal we asked whether a taxi could be organised- it couldn’t- but a member of staff insisted on driving us back to our hotel!! For service above and beyond expectations we thank Barone Rosso and would recommend it to anyone.
