The service was very attentive and welcoming, from both the host and servers. We lucked out with a table outside by the water. The views are amazing here. Grab your sunglasses and sit outside if possible! I had the grilled shrimp tacos. They were alright. I felt they were missing something, like maybe a sauce or more seasoning. I loved their key lime pie with raspberry drizzled over it. The pie will be a repeat for me if I am ever back in the area.
Loved it. Our waitress was fantastic. Actually, all of our interactions with the staff were excellent. Our waitress flawlessly took care of our party of 6. The lemon pepper fries were a hit. You have to try them. I asked the waitress to make a recommendation between the soft shelled crab and the shrimp tacos. I was not disappointed with my tacos.
On a day trip to the beach, not knowing where we wanted to go to eat, we just pulled up Maps, and this was the first place that showed up. We tried it, and it was fantastic. Food was excellent. Drinks were amazing. Service was top notch. My wife and I could not have been more pleased. Ate every last bite.

The pie is worth the visit by itself
A most memorable dining experience. By the Wrightsville Beach drawbridge on the intracoastal with a marina and boats going by. Plenty of waterside tables. The Calamari was very fresh, tender, perfectly coated and fried, with a sweet thai chili sauce - delectable. The Blackened Mai Mai Tacos were delicious. The truly amazing selection was the Soft Shell Crab, beautifully spiced and coated, and fried. The crab was huge and scrumptious with its own spicy roumelade. And the view, spectacular. This restaurant is located right on the intercostal water way. The majority of seating is outside with a view of the beautiful yachts / boats, sea birds and the intercostal water way. There is also some seating inside at the bar and at a few tables. This restaurant is a less expensive and informal version of the next door restaurant Bridge tender. Note: It does get really busy at times and parking can be hard to find close to the restaurant.
The fried seafood platter is one of my favorite fried seafoods in the area. It comes with really good fries and cole slaw. Yes…unlike a LOT of other restaurants in the area Fish house grill actually knows how to make really good southern cole slaw. It has a fine chop and the perfect taste.
The salads are delicious and they offer several protein add ons and homemade dressings. The clam chowder, nachos, crab dip and buffalo shrimp are all good starters. The tacos are good and worth trying but not my favorite in the area.
If you want a less informal dining experience with a beautiful view and good food this is your place.
It was my second choice but nice detour. Cozy & clean with protected outdoor seating overlooking some docks. Someone coming out recommended the clam chowder which was really tasty.
Went on our way home from the beach. Wanted some good seafood and light beers. So glad we came here. A very nice casual seafood spot. Great service and great food.
The buffalo shrimp is a must order. Also the key lime pie is like eating whip cream flavored key lime.

The food was amazing all around. We tried a variety of different menu items. Our waitress was very attentive and always had our drinks full. When we paid there was an extra $100 bill stuck making the tip rather large, it was not intentional. The waitress brought it back to us letting us know that gratuity was already included and when we checked how much we gave her we realized we had an extra $100 in there. Not many people would have been honest like that. I did not catch her name, but we greatly appreciated her amazing service as well as her honesty.
The food was amazing. We were seating right away by a very friendly hostess. Our waiter came right to us and had our drinks quickly. The food was great. Shrimp only lightly breaded and good perfectly. Tuna was seared perfectly and fresh. Make sure you try the lemon & pepper fries because they are amazing. This is definitely a great way to finish a beach trip.
