Expensive, but delicious Espresso and nice atmosphere. This was my most expensive double espresso for $5.50… (I just ordered an espresso, but I got a double espresso) Taste was perfect, prepared with a classic italian espresso machine.

Delicious lavAzza coffee and pastries. Millefeuille can be hard to find but there were at least 2 French chefs behind the counter making authentic pastries. The foods looked good too. They got really busy at lunch time and it took a little longer than planned but they thanked me for waiting and threw in an extra pastry!

If you want to have a piece of Paris in Washington DC, well this is the perfect spot. Paul bakery is always great for a quick coffee or meal! I love their location inside western market. Love the vibe and service here. You walk in and see a beautiful selection of pastries and desserts. You order and then get a seat at the table. Check them out for their delicious coffee, fresh bakeries, cakes, sandwiches, and eggs benedict. Fun fact :Over 130 years old, PAUL is the Ambassador of the French art de vivre. Present in over 34 countries, the brand's teams share the love of work well done.

PAUL is my absolute favorite bakery to visit while in DC! My usual PAUL location was near FBI building but it closed. I stayed in the Foggy Bottom at GWU area and it didn’t disappoint. The plain croissants are my favorite and then the chocolate croissant. I got an apple turnover this time. It was a bit tart but still good. I bought the 2 pack of chocolate chip cookies and they were also delicious. The ladies were nice behind counter. I will definitely continue to visit a PAUL when visiting!

Today’s start for me was not a good one. I was late for work then to make matters worse I get locked out. Right when I thought things can turn for worse I saw this little gem and wanted to give it a try. Nothing beats fresh coffee and a reuben sandwich. Satisfied with lunch I was able to get some work done and needless to say my day in the end turned to be pretty good. The restaurant is beautiful, the staff was friendly, and perfect.

If you want to have a piece of Paris, well this is the perfect spot. My breakfast experience was marvelous, the great pastries selection, the ambiance, fresh latte and all the small details makes this boulangerie amazing.

First time in DC, stopped in to try this place. Great atmosphere, I’ll call it “colonial chic” and the food is wonderful! Pictured is a ham and Swiss croissant and a sausage, egg and cheese croissant (the cheese is light and nutty, not sure what it was but it was fabulous). It looks boutique-y while still being inexpensive! It’s a fantastic little place to grab a super fast bite and wait out the rain.

Nice and cozy place. Paul’s never disappoints. Being holiday it was rather crowded and they ran out of things. Food is always great, service was decent. Good variety to chose from. This was one of the best Omelette and coffee I had.

Once we got food it was very very good. But the process is confusing and the gal that was behind the counter had to keep repeating herself that she was ONLY taking orders for bakery items. Would be faster if they just took orders with one person and passed it along with any bakery items. Also quite $$$
