Great food. I have come here several times for lunch with my parents and t is always a nice time. The atmosphere is a touch loud, but overall a great experience. I like the sarcastic signs all over the restaurants and the music they play is hip and young.
Our service is always good but it is a bit on the casual side as far as that goes. Not a whole lot of detail, but still pleasant
Now the food is really good. The BBQ is super tender and I like all three of the sauces they have on the table. The portions are great for lunch. the nacho's are enough for two people. I also had a burger and it was juicy and tender with lot's of flavor
I would recommend this place to everyone who likes a fun and casual style with good food and music.
Hostess was unattentive like in every other resturaunt, what's new, but our server was great. She was attentive and friendly and checked on us often. My food came and my steak was way oercooked, she apologized and sent for a new one which took 30 minutes.. she apologized more, extensively, and asked if I wanted to speak to the manager, he compensated my meal and sincerely apologized. I would definitely go again.
Love their signature wings! This place is always a great meal! I usually have so much I take it for left overs which I love the next day at work as well. Colleagues are totally jealous :)
Depends on when you go.... ...and what you get. Personally we like it. However we know that the brisket isn't worth the price and the cinnamon apples aren't a good side choice. The appetizer's are all pretty good, so are the burgers, the sandwiches, the soups and the desserts. The bbq is decent. I don't like it as salty as they do tend to make it, but it's good if that's what you're used to or if that's what you like.

Fine Lunch Experience. The barbeque and ribs are very good. The server was a little too canned and over the top with promoting items and add ons. Also, they could afford to lose the Hooters wannabee sayings on the wall. Yes, the racks are nice, but calm down. We couldn't eat everything on our plates and took them home. They were good reheated too.
Good twist. This restaurant was slightly cookie cutter but the menu had just enough of a twist to it make it stand out in the crowd. They had plenty of TV's which is not that new but at each table they have an audio controller so you can "tune in" the sound from the screen showing what you want to watch. Great for the dad who might be missing the big game. Our service was excellent the day of our visit as well. Luckily pricing did keep in line with the other restaurants of its kind by being not too high.
Food was amazing! I definitely would come back! The waitress was okay but not bad. They have a new menu with a lot of good choices.
We stopped in for a late night dinner. The service was excellent. Our waitress, Shay, was awesome! I had a Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken (dressing on the side). The lettuce was crispy and cold and the grilled chicken was perfectly grilled.
My dining partner had the 6 Honey Hot Wings and a loaded baked potato. The wings were perfectly grilled with just the right amount of sauce.
When you are in Town Center in VA Beach, stop by and ask for Shay!
Let me tell you, Shay has all the patience. I love my Mom with everything in me.... BUT BABY. The service was awesome Shay just kept smiling. The atmosphere was great. The food was terrific. 😋 I definitely will be back and I will be asking for her section . A large party came in she never missed a beat.
I came here for the first time and I honestly can say that I had such a great experience! I've never been to any Smokey Bones locations but was invited and decided to give it a try! There was no wait time and we were seated as soon as we got in! Our server was Taylor and she was so sweet and polite! She was very soft spoken and friendly and provided us with such amazing service! The food was very impressive! I had the smoked turkey breast with the baked beans and potato wedges. The turkey was very well seasoned and was very juicy!! Usually places serve dry turkey but not this one! Lastly, I tried the banana pudding (my favorite dessert) which was okay. That's the only item I wouldn't order again. Overall, this was truly a great experience and I would most certainly dine here again!
Service was foremost on the What's- great-about-this place list! We got greetings as soon as we entered, seemingly every 10 minute checkin from our waitress. Greetings when we left.
Love if that we could use our coupons, my friends each got $10 off $25 meal, what a great offer!
Food was great. My friends ordered the pork belly pops appetizer, wings, steak and Mac n cheese side. I didn't order anything since I just had a large lunch but my friends shared bag o' donuts - the donuts were warm, the raspberry sauce was too sweet though.
The restaurant is large with multiple sections like the bar, multiple main seating areas.
Took the in- laws for the first time, He was so impressed for his first visit, food was so good they both finished their plates completely. And the stacked Potato my most favorite and best priced at $10.99
We didn’t try the appetizers so can’t comment on those but our dinners were delicious. Having multiple flavors of sauce on the table just adds tot he experience and taste buds. Definitely a flavor for everyone. Food was well cooked and enjoyed by everyone in our 6 party group. Highly suggest the BONEFIRE and don’t forget to add in some brisket. It’s so yummy you will probably eat it all.

The food and drinks were so good!!! The waitress who served us was Shay and she was very attentive with the service and fast. I always like to come to this location since it is in a very nice and convenient place.
Great experiences, always. Good food. Great staff, great atmosphere... Staff is humorous and amazing and "the Ashley's" are helpful and aided when something was wrong or needed to be dealt with. Jackie was very helpful when coming in as was Kat, Daytron, Joy, and the rest of the amazing staff. Not one person passed by without making sure we were definitely take care of. Definitely will be back! Thank you Smokey Bones staff and the rest that we didn't get to meet or interact with personally, you're all great!
