Back in May I visited this location as it was my first time at CH for a celebratory lunch and I had a great experience! The BBQ chicken salad is to die for and fills you up. You could even share it if you wanted to! Also, the egg rolls are delicious too.
I tried the s’mores mousse at the time and it was okay, good but just not for me. However they brought some free truffles to the table and those were scrumptious.
The environment is super cool, I didn’t know they had memberships and tasting. If you’re a wine lover, you have to check em out. The bar was also nice to sit at and grab a drink after dining at the table.
Took my mother here for her birthday dinner. 4 of us ate but did not drink any alcohol. Went on a Thursday night and there was wine tasting going on. Not sure if that is every night or not. My husband and daughter got the raw tuna appetizer and I got the lobster and crab bisque. Both were amazing. I had the chicken Madeira and it was very good except it was extremely salty. And I love salt. This was so salty that I didn’t finish. My mom had the salmon and loved it. Husband had the mahi and daughter had the gnocchi with Parmesan garlic cream sauce. Would like to try again.
The first time I went to this restaurant/winery my girlfriend took me out for lunch and I was highly impressed. I returned the next week with my brother came to town and treated him to dinner. I also joined the wine club while I was there because it just made sense as you can choose your wine category and how much you would like to spend in order to be in the wine club. The food is excellent. The wine tasting was out of this world. The service was good and I'm happy to say that this is the finest restaurant that I've been to since I moved to Virginia Beach. Ordered the pistachio crusted grouper with mash potatoes and green beans. The grouper was crooked perfectly and the pistachio crust added a nice nutty flavor without overpowering the grouper. Recommend staying your meal with the pretzel bread loaf. My only criticism is that the food took over 50 plus minutes to arrived after it was ordered.
Our waitress was Ana. She was helpful in answering questions, my husband & I know very little about wine. We were able to find some that we both liked. She was also attentive but not overly attentive.
I had the shrimp scampi pasta. It was good but I felt it needed more pasta. I also had the lemon drop. I def felt that drink. I got it with the expectations of getting something light but it had much more punch than expected. It was good & def recommend trying.
We came on Thanksgiving and we’re very impressed! Phenomenal service from the time we walked in. The food was delicious, paired perfectly with their wine recommendations. We recommend the filet, the pretzel crusted pork chop, and any wine flight choice! I ended up joining the wine club as well, grabbing two bottles before we left. Can’t wait to come back!

Visiting Virginia Beach we celebrated my birthday and Cooper Hawk didn’t disappoint!
Service was outstanding. I believe our server’s name was Rachel - very nice and attentive lady. We requested some changes in our order from the many and all of our request were done very well.
Rachel refilled our drinks without asking / I was surprised since lately - in various places I needed to remind the servers to do so./
Food was very well prepared, tasty and ambiance was pleasant.
Wonderful place to relax while at the beach.
One word to describe this place would be SUPERB! The food, wine, service, and ambiance is ALWAYS top tiered! I usually go with my girlfriends but tonight my husband made reservations for our date night! Joy was our waitress and she was absolutely amazing! As always they did not disappoint!

Our server Dominique (Sunshine) was wonderful and helpful for my guest and I when we sat down. Even made sure my guest first time there was pleasant!
The food is Always magnificent and for Dominique being there for almost a month, it seems like she worked there for years with her awesome customer service!

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! It was a great place to go for my birthday and all the staff was so friendly and welcoming. It was my first time there and staff were knowledgeable, patient and the food looked and tasted amazing! Pricing is great especially during happy hour. Will definitely visit again. If you’re debating whether or not to try this place, this is your sign to GO!!! :)
