I have been a customer since the first restaurant opened in the 1980's. The food is always exceptional, and cannot find pad Thai like this anywhere!
The food was delicious. The service was fantastic. We will be returning for the soup and specials.
Stopped in here for a weeknight dinner with a friend. The atmosphere was very quaint and quiet around 5:30 and picked up towards the end of our meal. I had the chicken pad Thai with level 2 spicy. I seem to have forgotten how spicy Thai spicy actually was because my spice tolerance was not at that level. Nevertheless, it was still flavorful and the addition of the lemon wedge elevated the dish. The portions were generous as well! I can’t wait to try their other dishes.
Delicious and cheaper during lunch. definitely need to come back. I got a curry that wasn't too spicy, but flavorful.
Next time I'll see if they can make it more spicy

I've had chicken coconut soup many times, but Bangkok Garden was a great surprise with their version. Absolutely delicious, this is my new favorite Thai restaurant and I will have to come back
A small group of us ate lunch at the Loehmanns Plaza Virginia Beach location. It was quite busy, however our food came out hot and quickly. I ordered the pad Thai combo with shrimp and chicken, no peanuts and a side of plain jasmine rice. Absolutely delicious! I could taste the freshness of the shrimp and the chicken was thinly sliced into pieces. The pad kee mao (drunken noodles) not pictured, were tasty and a little spicy. We forgot to give the spice level when ordering. The server was attentive and quick. Overall, this restaurant has consistently good food.
A friend who goes here often recommended this place so we tried it this evening. The place was about to close so they rushed us in ordering a bit but other than that it was a great experience. The food was FANTASTIC. We started with house salads that came topped with one of the best dressings I've ever had. It tasted like some sort of soy & ginger flavors. I tried a noodle dish with beef and chicken that the waitress recommended in Thai hot style. It was very spicy and delicious. I was also pleased to find that they serve Singha (Thai beer) which I love! My friends meals were both delicious as well. The only thing that could have been improved was the service. The waitress was very polite but was pointedly rushing us since we sat 30 min before closing. I will definitely try it again though.
We visited Bangkok Garden with our kids while traveling and enjoyed exceptional service and delicious food. The waitress was very willing to customize any dishes for us, which is wonderful with slightly picky kids. We knew it must be good since it was almost full on a week night, and it didn't disappoint. The pot of Tom yum seafood soup was very large and full of salmon (our requested swap) scallops and shrimp. We had four bowls which was only about half of the pot, and they packaged the rest in a quart container for us to take home. My kids loved the pad thai and pad see ew. Nice atmosphere, excellent service and food will have us stopping by again next time we're in the Virginia Beach area.
Love coming here for great and quick Thai food. They have lots of options and great portions!
Oh my gosh! This is my moving forward to any Thai place here in VB. The drunken noodles are on another level, but what brings me back is the customer service. They recognize me and my kids. They're kind and loving. That Thai tea is on another level!!
Great Thai restaurant. Great food, great service, and clean. Nice portion size of entrees and Thai Tea. Highly recommend to family and friends!
