This restaurant was recommended by our Hotel bartender. He told us it was the best Italian food in the area and he was right. Luigi our waiter was great and all the food was amazing. We felt like part of the family. Grazie Sergio, Luigi per il fantastico pasto e il servizio. Torneremo presto.
The food and the service was wonderful! Very attentive staff. I had the Fettuccine ai Frutti di Mare. Perfect amount of food and very reasonable. I'll be back!
There's nothing fancy about this place, just some old school Italian cooking. After a long day in DC walking the national mall, it was really nice to sit and eat in a quiet place that wasn't crowded. The home made pasta was really good, and our favorite part of dinner. The canoli was exceptional
Good food at decent price. Quiet atmosphere. Good wine.
Great hidden Italian restaurant. Staff was very polite and attentive. They served warm bread and salad before bringing the main dishes. Got the Rollata della Nonna and it was 👌.
The food here is amazing! I was skeptical walking up because we didn't know from the Google search that the place was in a hotel, but we decided to try it anyway. Not that hotel's necessarily have lack luster food, but I just don't expect to find really good Italian many places and particularly not in hotels. This place exceeded expectations by a mile. Go here if you are looking for great Italian food. The service was a bit slow, but in a relaxed way, so if you are trying to get in and get out, you may want to let them know that upfront.
Great atmosphere. Has a nice down home feel. Not pretentious at all. Staff seem to be long time employees. They give great customer service. I'm not always a fan of Italian food, but the food here is delicious.
We truly enjoyed our meal. It was a relaxed atmosphere with friendly people. The food was out of this world delicious! Can't wait to come back!! My husband was skeptical with "hotel food". But the only thing it has in common with the hotel is the convenient location. Don't pass up this wonderful restaurant!!!
This generally is a pleasant, straightforward Italian restaurant. Table service is excellent. The wines by the glass are all Italian and very good. We have enjoyed all the vegetarian appetizers and entrees. Some of the pasta is overcooked. Among the Italian restaurants in the area this is a top 25% option.
Sergio's is one of the very few authentic Italian restaurants in the DC area and one of the few places were I would bring out-of-town guests. It's a family run business, offering a wonderful selection of dishes, including homemade pasta (ravioli) and homemade tiramisu. The food is simply delicious, and it is made with fresh and simple ingredients (the Italian way). I have been there many times, including several New Year's Eves, and I have never been disappointed. I only wish portions of ravioli dishes were a little more generous!
What a wonderful little hidden treasure. It took all my self control not to kick the plate. The waiter was a little odd but friendly. If you're looking for authentic Italian food, this is the place to go. And the bread......Oh the bread. We were practically fighting over who got the last piece. Definitely check this place out.
The best kept culinary secret in Downtown Silver Spring. Absolutely delicious home style Italian food. It's a bit hard to find because it's located on the lower level of the hotel, but it is not a hotel restaurant, Sergio just rents the space. Every item on the menu is delicious.
And it is reasonably priced.
