This is a nice small place and there's usually a line but it moves fairly quickly. We had the bowl and bento for lunch. The chicken on the skewer were tender and flavorful. The sashimi was fresh and the broiled eel was very good as well.

I love all of their food on the menus, tho I won't eat ebi due to allergic. Everything is good, but the things that make it inconvenient was I should pay by cash and they won't take any cards. And the line is long due to the restaurant's pretty narrow, but that make it special haha. :) and both of these photos are my favorite!!!!! Chirasi bowl (their speciality) and unagidon!!!

I really love their Chirashi bowl. It's very delicious and affordable. I always order the Chirashi bowl every time I come here. I tried their rolls once and those rolls were so big. I couldn't eat it in one bite.

The queue is so long. So if you want to eat there and don't want to stand outside for 30 minutes or so, the best way is that you have to come 5-10 minutes before the restaurant open.

Please bring your cash because they don't accept payment with cards.

Overall, their Chirashi bowl is the best affordable Chirashi bowl that I've ever tried!

One of the to go places in Seattle! My favorite has to be the chirashi bowl. You can customize your choices of fish as you wish and they all have very good quality compared to many other Japanese restaurant. The prices are also pretty reasonable for the potions. Their service are pretty quick and the servers are very friendly. If you want to have lunch or dinner, I recommend you to come 10-15 minutes before they open because usually they will already have a line and you'll have to wait at least 30 minutes or you can get a take out which would be even faster. Also, I recommend you to try other dishes too - their beef bowl was pretty good too.

First off you need to know they are cash or check only location. Hey, if keeps cost down I am all for it. Second, they are a small venue. So expect it to be crowded and busy. You may have to wait and rub elbows with Seattle locals. Our last visit was this week. Mel and I had the day off, with our little one was in day care for the morning. We stopped in around 1130, and the place was actually kind of quite. We ordered four rolls, and order of Unagi and Inra. The entire order came out very quickly, while we sipped complentry hot te

As you can tell, I really like this place! Some tips: cash or check only! If you want to skip the wait, I suggest calling in your order to go. Lastly, you can modify your chirashi bowl to your liking. I

When you’re short on credit but still want that sashimi lifestyle, look no further than Musashi . I’m not a sushi connoisseur but the infamous Musashi Chirashi bowl will not disappoint anybody. You get fresh thick cuts of salmon, tuna and other raw sea treasures that will make you scream Instagram. Some quick things about Musashi’s before coming here – it isn’t that big, there’ll be a wait and it’s cash only. However, it will be well worth it and you’ll have extra cash for drinks later that night. Previous post Fonda La Catrina Leave a Reply Click here to cancel reply. I have driven by this place a million times and I've said to my SO, "We should try that place sometime..." But the line out the door always changes my mind. It's a tiny little restaurant located in Wallingford, right down the street from Archie McPhee's! The restaurant seats maybe 25-30 people, so it's easily crowded. We had good timing, arriving around 6:30pm, and we only had a 5 minute wait. That was a relief. We had a back up plan to go somewhere else in Wallingford if the wait was more than 15 minutes. I really hate waiting for a table, but on rare occasions, I'll be patient and wait. Chirashi $14 I decided to have the Chirashi. Chirashi is basically just seasoned sushi rice topped with a variety of sashimi. The sashimi on top of the rice consisted of 2 pieces of Unagi (cooked, seasoned Eel), 1 piece of Ebi (Shrimp), 4 pieces of Shiro Maguro (Albacore Tuna), 4 pieces of Maguro (Tuna), 4 pieces of Sake (Salmon), 4 pieces of Hamachi (Yellowtail) an

Worth the wait. So delicious but be fast! They are super fast at lunch time. Get you in and out. Giant tamago, fish is fresh and served simple, like authentic sushi.
Prices are great too. Always a must when in the area.

25 years and counting, a former wallingford native moved a half hour away but we still drive in often just to come here - from before I was married, converted my husband and now the kids. We all love this place!

Tiny little store with delicious chirashi bowl. The fish is very fresh and delicious, portion is generous and price is very fair. I will definetely come again. P.s.: There were some flies flying around in the resturant but it is hard to avoid at this time of year and it really did not bother us.

Great price for incredible quality thick cut sushi. I have returned several times because of this. A small menu, but that doesn’t matter in the slightest. Recently, I ate in with a companion and a homeless man came in and started bothering us. He was asking us questions while we were trying to finish our meal. The cashier/server came over and politely told the man to leave. After the man left, he spoke to us very charismatically and was kind. He also had other customers come in and dealt with them in the same charismatic manner. Overall an extremely amazing experience. Highly recommend.

Very simple and small joint to eat at. Got the chirashi with salmon, yellowtail and eel. It was pretty standard and good price. Nice place to stop by for a simple quick meal.

We had beef bowl and chirashi bowl. Both are so delicious. The rice is not too much and the fish is so delicious so we are not stuffed after the dinner! Highly recommended!

Musashis is a hidden gem in Wallingford. Their sushi is really well-priced, delicious, and perfect for a quick, easy, and delicious lunch. Their service is fast, it’s really simple to order. It’s got a really good local sushi place vibe. You should definitely check it out!

Ordering was smooth and service was really fast. Best part of the meal was the Miso soup. The veggie roll was also really good. Rice was cooked well. Fish quality in the Chirashi bowl was alright and that was the let down.

Great place for affordable sushi. The noodle salad is the best! Note they ONLY take plastic now.

Best sushi I've had outside of Japan. The quality of the fish is perfect, the rice has the right amount of vinegar and warmth, the temperature of the fish is just right, the proportions of the fish to rice is almost perfect (this is for the nigiri and sushi... they should reduce the rice quantity by 15%), the price is amazing. I can't go anywhere else because this place is so delicious.

If you want super fresh (never frozen) sushi at a awesome price (huge pieces) then this is the spot. I've been coming here ever since they opened waaaaay back in the days and its only got better. Place has been renovated but still has its old school charm. Its a small place and it gets very busy so expect to wait but it's well worth it.

Fish lovers: rejoice! Everything is delicious and not overpriced! Go in person for the best price, ordering online will cost you more than you’ll pay and the wait is very reasonable. Make sure you bring your mask and wait outside until it’s your turn to order or until your order is ready. Fish haters: if you order the teriyaki chicken, it comes with a side that has fishy flavors, so you might want to omit that side from your order. The food is really great; my sushi was amazing. Next time I’ll have to try their signature bowl! The staff was very kind and said if I needed a certain fish subbed out, they would be happy to make any changes I needed. Only one person is allowed inside at a time so bring a mask and be prepared to brave the weather while you wait for your togo food. Totally worth it!!
