Panera has awesome food and great sweet treats. The downside to this Panera NOT ENOUGH staff on the register in the AM. Plus, the tables are not cleaned very fast.
Good food & great service. I am on a walker & I had this little waitress that was so attentive.
There was a spider on my table when I went last Sunday for breakfast but this was a first and had never happened to me there before. They should enhance cleaning.
The best place and branch to work or have family time.. my kids love it the most ❤️.

I love Panera but this is the second time this location gets my order wrong. The first time I paid for extra bacon but wasn't included. Today, I got the bacon but not the sausage that is part of the sandwich.
Workers are nice and as someone else stated in their review, they are working hard. Apart from that, I have had no other issues when ordering from the Cottle location. The food is good and love their caffe lattes.
Good place to sit and do work or chat with friends. It's quieter than a cafe and noisier than a library, which is nice. Food is a bit pricy but yummy.
The spinach bacon soufflé was not available, that’s what I wanted to try for breakfast. So I got the bacon egg tomato wrap, it was dry. My wife got the egg bacon sandwich, she said it was dry and bland. The Covid19 Delta variant is still surging but the customers can freely touch the pile of cups to get for their drink, and all four customers ahead of me never sanitized their hands with the sanitizer that’s provided at the counter, and they just touched the cups to get one for themselves. so the other cups are contaminated by the previous customers. That’s not appetizing. The cups are not in a dispenser so the person has to hold the other cups just to pull one out. NOT cool. NOT safe.
When in town for business and staying south San Jose, I make sure I come to the Pantera bread for delicious yet nutritious breakfast sandwich. Each time. I recommend this to everyone.
Roasted tomatoes makes all the difference in the world.
I get the same thing every time I come here. They make my salad so tasty, every time! I like the good customer service attitude they have. I'm always in there for no more than 10 minutes when I do a to go order for myself. When I do curbside pickup, I'm usually only waiting for 5 minutes. They're always so fast, efficient, and friendly. I love coming to this Panera versus other ones.
Pannini's and flatbreads sandwiches are the way to go (turkey cranberry, oh yeah). I sometimes pop in for lunch, but also have had their bagels and pastries for breakfast. For what it is, it's certainly not inexpensive, but reasonable...moreover, tastes good too!
Free Wi-Fi (though, not very strong), accepts Android Pay (but working terminals are hot or miss).
I ordered vegetarian items as a lark, veggie grilled Baggett, and veggie pizza, both were great, better than pepperoni pizza and pepperoni Baggett who new , sourdough bread I had was not very sourdough tasting, ordered both rustic and sourdough not a fan
Great place for a good meal be it breakfast lunch it dinner. Cloth backs on the seating are a little dirty and could use a cleaning. But mostly good atmosphere
