Atmosphere is great. There isn’t necessarily limited seating. But it fills up because of how many customers they get. I got the blueberry maple coffee. It was good not great. An interesting flavor. My friend got the rose coffee that she said was awesome. I got the golden breakfast sandwich and it was amazing!
Delicious affordable specialty lattes, one size only (at least for to go ones).
This is my go to coffee shop in North Park: speedy service, lots of seating, nice employees, really great coffee!
PS they don’t charge extra for plant based milk. ❤️
I never tried their food, but it looks good, (just kinda pricey). They offer pastries, though they are not baked in house, they contract with an LA bakery. The pastries look super good.
I’ll be back, Holsem!
Great local coffee shop. Had their banana bread cold brew and was super impressed. Not to sweet, great balance and aroma from the bananas and cinnamon. Will need to come back to their more of their selections!
Holsem offers creative original lattes at a reasonable price point. At this point I've tried almost all of them. When it's a challenge to find one you don't like, you know a place is good.
I highly recommend the banana bread cold brew.
The seating area is large enough to accommodate most people even on busy weekends, and the craziest part: almost every table has access to a power outlet.
Ambient music included some fun early 2000s and 2010s pop and hip-hop remixes which added to the enjoyment. Who doesn't like drinking coffee while listening to The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air intro?
I come here for full coffee shop vibes. Music is always on point and the big window lighting is perfect for working or hanging out. They have a decaf version of almost everything which is amazing. I specifically love the Nutella cold brew (also made decaf). For food, the avocado bread is my favorite with the fresh radish and lemon on top.
I’ve come here many times over the past few years, and will be back many more. holsem has magnificent well roasted coffee, delicious espresso, and the most gourmet flavor combos in their lattes/cappuccinos. My go to is the single origin (!!!) cold brew, of which there are usually multiple varieties, perfectly extracted every time. The latte art is always impressive, the breakfast food and pastries are always magnificent. They are the best coffee-makers in San Diego.
I absolutely adore it. The Rose Dusted vanilla latte is INCREDIBLE. The açaí bowl stands out as one of the best, smooth and creamy. The way they melt their peanut butter on top is a game changer compared to a cold, thick dollop like most places. The Avocado toast and peanut banana toast were also fantastic.
Great coffee with a wide selection for flavors & craft specialities. The cashier/baristas are super helpful for providing reccomendations. The atmosphere is very relaxed and a great place to meet for dates/friends.
The food is good, but overpriced for the amount you get. Overall a great coffee shop
L'orange cappuccino was out of the world amazing. It sure had the hint of orange flavor-subtle and not over powerful, just enough to give it a kick. Pastries were all fresh. Service was fast. Wonderful friendly atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Nestled in a cozy setting, the cafe offers reliable 80Mbps WiFi and convenient street parking. Every table is equipped with power outlets, ensuring you have flexibility in choosing your seating. The servers are welcoming, and the drink menu offers a decent selection. Opting for the Cinnamon Swirl Mocha, I found it quite enjoyable, and the beverage was served in an aesthetically pleasing and fancy cup, adding to the overall experience.
