It's a little hard to find, but well worth the look. I had a fish (cod) and a steak taco, and my husband had a steak and a spicy shrimp taco. My were wonderful and full of flavor. My husband said the spicy shrimp were very spicy. There's no kids sized portions, but the cheese quesadilla is worth the price. I would definitely recommend this place.
Couldn't love this place more than I do. I would die for their food. We have come for 4-7 days and only ate our all of meals their. So incredible! The scallops are cooked to perfection as is the steak! I wish I could have this every day! We think about this place almost every day back in Wisconsin!!
This place is just the Bee’s Teets. I love it. The marinade is the same as Oscar’s as they have history together is the words on the street. The food and sauces also shows that, when are we getting the Netflix documentary??! Grab extra napkins as it’s a beautiful mess, (see pics) eat it on the beach if you can with the gulls and the crazies.
Great no frills taco joint block from the beach. Standard beer battered fish tacos were fantastic and came with a variety of of sauces and heat levels. Highly recommend with a Pacifico.
Beach friendly, lots of locals with sandy feet and wet swimsuits.

I’m here on vacation and checked reviews on best Mexican— you guys did NOT disappoint! This is not a fancy joint but the food and prices hit the spot! Definitely get the fish or steak tacos. The sauce is spicy and AWESOME.
Sit upstairs and there is a nice cool breeze while you eat. Clam chowder was hot, thick, and good. Tacos 🌮 are overflowing.
We visit Mike's whenever we are in town. The burritos are delicious and we never get anything other than the shrimp and steak Cali. I did order a fish taco this last time and I wasn't a fan. It was a little bland. I'll continue to get the burrito and stick to what I know is good.
Perfect taco shack in Ocean Beach! We had fish, steak, steak & shrimp tacos, and a carne asada burrito. It all came with an assortment of excellent sauces. The line moved quickly and seating outside was readily available.
If you are looking for a quick bite this is your spot. The beach and ocean are in eye sight while dining outside. You can order your food at the window and moments later it will be ready. Burrito trifecto is amazing with so many flavors but is also massive and could we shared by two. Chips and guacamole are also great. They have a good array of drinks both nonalcoholic and alcoholic for a small spot. Right on Newport too.
Great place to get a Cali burrito. Get the surf and turf burro and then enjoy a walk on ocean beach. We found street parking close by.
I"m a big fan of breakfast burrito and over the years have tried them throughout my travels. Not only will I say that without certainly they make the best breakfast burrito I have ever eaten! I also wish I had one right now, luckily It's a 2 minute walk away...
Got there and the line was about 5 customers deep. It got through ok, waited inside. The outside and inside is fairly small. We ordered a Battered Fish Taco, Steak and Shrimp Taco, Scallop Taco and Mike’s Torta (Steak, Shrimp and Scallops). Food and sauce were super good, it was not up to the hype but still really good.
