Wonderful breakfast on Mission Ave. The pancakes are delicious - the burritos are great. The eggs with rosemary potatoes were so good. Fresh squeezed orange juice tasted delightful! We eat here every time we visit mission beach. The place does fill up so go early or be patient.

Loved everything about this little, quaint spot. The atmosphere was homey and comfortable. The space is small but inviting. Our waitress was great! Attentive, kept up with our banter, was efficient and quick. The food was delicious! Will definitely return next time we are in town.

Cozy and classy brunch spot in Mission Beach. The staff makes you feel at home, the food is warm and comfortable. Didn’t take that long to be sat, but they can be busy. They serve Mexican and American style breakfasts such as burritos, chilaquiles, egg plates, French toasts, and pancakes. The pancakes are thick, soft, and doughy in the best way. Im not even a pancake fan, but they did them so well! Nothing bad to say about the restaurant itself. The staff was attentive, helpful, and the food came out in large portions. Maybe took a while to get our coffee, the food was halfway eaten before it came out. The parking is horrible lol, but it’s like that everywhere in mission beach. We parked by the bay park and had to walk over (5 min walk). You can also pay $30 for 2 hour parking in the lot across the street.

I’ve heard many great things about this place, but I have to say I was not impressed much. I’ve tried their House-Made Cinnamon French Toast with a side of eggs and bacon, and the Mixed Mushroom Frittata. One dish was spectacular and the other was a huge let down. I’ll start with the best dish, which was the Mixed Mushroom Frittata. It had excellent taste and harmonious flavor. The potatoes popped with texture and excellent taste with help from the rosemary. The ingredients stuffed into the eggs were well-balanced. The chicken sausage was also balanced between fat and meat ratio. Overall, it was an excellent dish. Next, the House-Made Cinnamon French Toast with a side of eggs and bacon. I was disappointed when I looked online for this dish and I saw that there was a shortage of blueberry purée on my plate. All I received was just a drizzle compared to other dishes served. Not only that, the eggs were horrendous. I’ve had better eggs served at a breakfast buffet for free in motels. Seriously, the eggs were so soggy that it tasted like it was swimming in dish water. However, the French Toast was well-balanced and sweet. It had fluffy texture and delicious cinnamon taste. Plus, the bacon was well-cooked and had a nice crispy texture. I loved it. Yes, the eggs were that bad. I should really give this place 1 star, but the saving grace was the French Toast and the Frittata.

Oh my! This place was amazing, their breakfast selection was delicious! We get the apple sausages & potatoes and my son gets the pancakes. Every time we go San Diego we try to go here because it’s just one of those spots that is a must to go to when you are in the area! The Staff is friendly and the food comes out fast. The Mission never disappoints!

Amazing! Absolutely amazing! 5 stars to every accolade you could think of. We had a great server named O, he gave us some good recommendations but I already had my sights set on the very think he recommended first, the French toast ( bread made in house). Idk how in the hell we stumbled upon this place but it was the last beachside restaurant of our trip to San Diego. Our experience at The Mission gave me a clear and distinct understanding of the expression, the last shall be first. Hands down the best restaurant during our visit. Thank you

If you only have one chance to get breakfast in San Diego then make this your destination. All of their breakfast items are fantastic but the pancakes and French toast are definitely the most appealing to the eye. Their traditional breakfast is great as well but the breakfast burrito is my personal favorite. Good coffee is important and they don’t fall short in that regard so the coffee snobs in your group will approve of eating here. If you notice a long line just know that it moves quickly and is worth the wait. There’s a small parking lot across the street and street parking along Mission Blvd.

The service was really good but the food is way is excellent. I always get the hanger steak and eggs just dip it in the horseradish sauce they make. The only issue I had was the potatoes were a little rosemary heavy this time but still enjoyable. Get a side of their tomatillo sauce for the potatoes, it’s goes really nice.

Always love to visit this place. Wonderful scenery, wonderful food, and a pretty clean beach. Just watch out for the benders on the sidewalk, overcharging for jewelry. My gf was to nice to say no so she paid 30 bucks for 2 little bracelets. Other than that, enjoy the beach!

Great food. Pancakes and French toast the best. Only hard part is the parking. Public lot $$$. Find street parking if you can. Been going here for years when visiting. 👍
