One of the best sushi spots in Sacramento area. I’m sad that I found it so late as they are moving to a new location. The moment you walk in through the doors you are greeted by the friendliest people and the smiling sushi chefs are happy to see you even though they seem really busy. The nice lady seated us in right away and brought out iced lemon water. The environment is peaceful and maintained to very clean standards. We ordered two sushi rolls which both were the best sushi we had in awhile. Even though we waited for our sushi rolls for about 20 minutes, it was well worth it as we got time for the delicious sushi they kept bringing out. Definitely a new favorite and will follow them to the new place.
This place was fantastic!! I am pregnant and craving sushi but obviously limited. They had so many baked or non raw options that were not just deep fried. The Bay Roll was the best thing ever! Service was friendly and everything was delicious
Do not let the outside be the reason you don’t try this sushi spot. I come here about every weekend & order the Lobster Roll. One of the best sushi in Sacramento & I’ve been too many.
The food is on point, but to be honest, the front of this restaurant was plan scary. Thank goodness my family was on the phone when I pulled up because I was totally judging this book by its cover. The sushi was excellent, and the desert was delicious. Great overall experience.
Ordered the Summer Night, baked mussels, Sake Donburi and the California house salad. Delivered through DoorDash. Total bill with $5 tip was $88.44. I will order again! Everything was delicious! Great portion sizes. Definitely will be making the trip to eat at the restaurant.
Absolute hidden gem here. It was criminally slow on a Friday night for how good their food is. Everything we ordered was unique and flavorful and prepared with a lot of care and attention. We started with the spicy garlic edamame and agadashi tofu which were both lovely and then ordered several rolls for the table all of which were delicious and beautiful! You should definitely give this place a try next time you're looking for a new sushi place.
This is my favorite sushi spot in Sacramento, everywhere else seems to fall short in terms of flavor and texture.
This place is located in an unassuming little strip mall, decorated nicely and was clean. Our server was sweet and on top of checking on us/refills. There was a large menu to choose from and all of the rolls we got were really good and beautifully presented. The only gripe we had as a table was that each of our food came out with long gaps of time in between so the first person was waiting a good 15-20 min by the time the third person's food came out for us to all eat together. It wasn't that busy either which could warrant a little time in between sometimes but not like this. I would go back, more likely for take out though.
I placed a pickup order with a specific pickup time as we were coming back from the Bay area. The Customer Service was friendly and efficient. Our food was made fresh and ready to go. We ordered an appetizer and three rolls. All were exceptional. Definitely coming back to Sushi Yo to try more Sushi Rolls. Thank you!!
