This place I fucking amazing. Got the salmon dish and it was bomb. Best $16 ever for a great size salmon over homemade pasta. Would've taken a picture but couldn't stop eating. The chef Justin really made it so I can't buy salmon nowhere else.

They make the pasta from scratch here and you can even take pasta making lessons. The atmosphere was wonderful. Went on a Friday night and had less than a 30 minute wait even tho the place was full. Great food, small menu (which is a huge bonus for me). I even got an order of tiramisu to go because I couldn't not try it but was so full. 10/10 would come back.

If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience in Sacramento, look no further than Adamo's. I recently had the pleasure of enjoying their lunch specials, and it was nothing short of fantastic! The star of the show for me was the Chicken Parmigiano—it's a flavor explosion that left my taste buds dancing with joy. The crispy exterior perfectly complemented the tender and juicy chicken, and the rich marinara sauce added a burst of authentic Italian goodness. Every bite was a symphony of flavors that I won't soon forget. The ambiance at Adamo's is simply enchanting. The warm and inviting atmosphere creates the perfect setting for a memorable meal. Whether you're catching up with friends, having a business lunch, or enjoying a solo dining experience, Adamo's provides the ideal backdrop. What truly sets Adamo's apart, though, is the exceptional service. The staff is not only professional but also genuinely friendly. They go above and beyond to ensure that your dining experience is nothing short of perfect. From recommendations on the menu to accommodating special requests, the level of attentiveness is commendable. In conclusion, Adamo's has earned its place as one of my favorite spots in Sacramento. The combination of mouthwatering dishes, cozy ambiance, and top-notch service makes it a must-visit. If you haven't tried their lunch specials, do yourself a favor and make a reservation at Adamo's. Your taste buds—and your overall dining experience—will thank you!

Great little establishment for hitting that occasional pasta craving. I really enjoy their bolognese and seasonal varieties, and the tomatoes in their side salad are unusually tasty to me. Very friendly staff as well.

John is amazing and really takes his love of good food to the next level. This family owned and operated restaurant is definetly one of the best in Sacramento. Don't expect booshie tables or swanky servers who are pretentious. BUT, If you enjoy meeting the owner, talking about home made ingredients, learning a little history and eating AMAZING food, then this is the place. A+++ from me all the way around! One of the Best in Sacramento as far as I am concerned!!! Love this place!!

Great experience last night. We were late to the game but they accommodated us at the counter during a very busy night. The food was very good and cooked perfectly. Service is friendly and attentive. Cost is very fair. The manager/owner (I wish I asked) was attentive and genuinely cared about the service and the product being put out. He helped make our late night out with our tired & hungry 4 year old enjoyable. Thanks and happy holidays.

Nice and easy neighborhood Italian restaurant. Service is simple and interiors are basic. The food is solid but nothing to blow your mind. The gnocchi were a little too hard and the risotto was a little bland. The meatballs with polenta were the best. A positive note also for the side salads, simple but tasty.

Ok, this is a tough one for me. My girlfriend wanted to go to an Italian restaurant and suggested one of the few big chains, and I decided to venture and I'm super glad I did. Upon a quick Internet search, I found Adamo's and looked no further. A fantastic family owned small restaurant with so many personal touches only found at a business with people there who genuinely care. Try out Adamo's, read the family story before you even walk in. Take a seat and just enjoy the experience while getting a true taste of Italy. Ok, now the nitty gritty. My fault that I didn't make a reservation, but do keep in mind that this is a very small place, popular and can fill fast. One of the owners tried hard to get us a table and we didn't have to wait too long. Don't expect a romantic environment, being such a small place with hard surfaces, it can get very loud very quickly. Hospitality was top notch and the presentation of the courses and food was well done. Prices are aligned with many other restaurants. Now we get to the food itself, this is where I have to not count this against Adamo's, but I felt the textures were thicker and flavors weren't as tasty, however, maybe because I'm tainted by the Americanized Italian food at the chains. This food definitely was fresh and I believe the pasta is made from scratch on sight. Do it, gather some people and try Adamo's.

This is more of a trattoria- a simple cafe descriptor serving good homey food in Italy - than a restaurant. Simplicity didn't take away at all from their excellent food and friendly service. Good beer and wine selection. High marks for value. This could become a favorite very easily.

Adamos is a cozy establishment with friendly service and decent food. Their pastas are handmade in-house, I believe. The paparadelle bologanese was delicious, but a little salty, and isn't as al dente as I would have liked. The lemon salmon picatta is very lemony. I liked the octopus appetizer, very garlic-forward and salty (great as a drinking snack), with fried potatoes and topped with fennel. Most items are priced $22-$25 for pastas and the appetizer was $18. The side salad was decent and the bread that came with the pasta dish was toasted well with nice olive oil. Looks like a great place to chat with a glass or wine. I liked the Pinocchio figurine out in front and the little sign decor (reminds me of Italy), but overall, the food definitely fits the American taste more (creamy focused, salt heavy, softer pasta). For the price and location, I would definitely come back (in small groups).
