The chilaquiles were spicy and a little salty for my taste! My partner really liked it though. Lovely atmosphere as well.

I stopped by here for breakfast waiting for my car to get smogged which was about a 45 minute wait. Seating was immediate. Didn’t have to wait at all. The place was clean and well kept just like all the other Cafe Bernardo’s I’ve been to. This is my first time at the downtown location. I ordered a 2 egg scramble with side of potatoes and toast. All served pretty quick and tasted good. Service was standard. Server was nice and took my order. But waiting for the check and getting change took between 10-15 minutes. Overall, good experience dining here except for the wait at the end getting my check and my change. Restaurant (5/5). Food (5/5). Service (4/5). Value/Price Ratio (5/5). Overall experience (4.5/5).
A big fan of this place - came here almost every day for 2 weeks straight! Their menu is different for lunch and dinner and the service is very quick. I especially like their salad sampler options where you can combine multiple salads in one. The lattes are also really big, served in bowls(!) and they have a great location with plenty of seating, inside and out!
Had a grass-fed angus burger with a side of fries and a latte. Everything was cooked to perfection and was fresh and tasty. The outdoor courtyard seating is a perfect location on sunny days and the place has a chill vibe. Brunch service was quick and wasn’t crowded.
This place had amazing fresh food and wonderful customer service. The salmon salad was well balanced with no one flavor overpowering another. The salmon was cooked just right and provided a nice flavorful contrast to the lettuce and veggies (which were all crisp). I also ordered a latte which turned out to be quite large! Always a plus.
I only intended to pop in for a coffee and a light bite to-go during a hectic day but... then I saw the menu. Eggs and bacon need to be eaten fresh, right? Oh, and they have pancakes. Oh, they keep refilling my coffee. Oh, they gave our dog his own water bowl. Oh, KIMCHI FRIED RICE.
So we stayed and ate all the things until our hearts and bellies were full. And the rest of our day went really smoothly :)
I can't wait to return-- they have happy hour specials almost every weekday, and their cocktail list looks really fun!
Have been here a few times with a friend of mine and each time we’ve tried something different. The food is super good here, our faves are their various pizzas! We’ve only ever sat outside mostly because it can get so busy but also because the outside seating is pretty nice and lively. No bad experiences here, staff have been so nice and friendly!
Experience today was definitely a good one! Both bartender and manager on were attentive and active in putting out drink and food orders while also keeping a welcoming environment and addressing any issues that arose. Overheard one person saying something about food being slow but you can hardly blame the waitresses, bartenders or even management if it's a busy day🤷♂️ everyone else seemed to be enjoying themselves! 10/10 recommend
The food and lattes were absolutely delicious! And such a cute place! I had the avocado toast, and my husband had the chilaquiles! I wish we could have tried the huevos too!
