Always my distinct pleasure to sit at the bar and slurp on the best Paloma in town while stuffing my face with some fantastic food! Love the chicken nachos, breakfast tacos and seasonal veggie quesadillas!! Great, fast service!!!
I just moved to Oak Park neighborhood and I am so excited to find this place a 10 minute walk from my house! I had fish tacos- So tender and delicious to die for! chips and guac were delicious too! Margaritas were very pretty and aesthetic to look at but needed more booze! - but of course I will be back! I want to try everything on the menu!! :)
Stopped into La Venadita for the first time, had a chicken burrito, wet with red sauce and cheese and it was delicious!
It’s got that cool brick urban high ceiling vibe to the place, I’ll definitely be coming back to try more of their menu, I recommend you do too!
Met up with two friends for dinner on a Friday night after work. It was very busy and there was a long line to order, which resulted in about a 40 min wait for food to come out. They were upfront about it though and I respect that. The chips and guacamole were delicious. I ordered the taco plate, carne asada and carnitas. The portions were healthy and yummy. There were plenty of seats inside and out, and it's a seat yourself after you order place. Overall everyone enjoyed their meal and left full.
You cannot beat Taco Tuesday here. Such a deal. On any day, the food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious. There's a lovely, dog friendly patio, and even a streetside area to eat at, should al fresco be your jam. The high ceilings make the inside feel spacious and comfortable, no matter how busy it is.
The place has a nice atmosphere and decor.
The food is not remotely authentic but its tasty. Think of Mexican meets Whole Foods where they put pumpkin seeds on your tacos.
I try to eat other menu items but I keep getting sucked back into Chicken Burrito. This place is the Devil. I love it.
Delicious! So authentic. Salsa Mexicana made the right way—without lemon. Loved the Chile Verde. Sit at the bar and get treated like a prince.
We dropped in for happy hour a couple days ago. Everyone was super friendly, service was quick, price was incredible, and above all the food was excellent. This is definitely going on the regular rotation. Vampiro tacos are killer.
Yum, yum, yum, yum, yum!! Amazingly fresh nachos. A special "fried jalapeno" sauce that's a warm hear that builds. Chips were fresh made and guacamole was on point. Married with a Mexican Coke = Sublime. Go! You'll love it!!
Fun place. Baria tacos and the bean burrito were delicious. The house margarita had very little flavor. It seemed like perhaps the mix was mostly water. You order at the register with a staff member, where you must provide, or decline, a tip. You pick your own table, and someone else brings you water, then a completely different person brings your food.
I love it here. Employees are always so nice. Food is great. Try the salad and add meat. Drinks and everything is made fresh and you can tell.
