They have the best GF stuff ever. They are the only ones that make all purpose buns worth eating. I drive from Lincoln to get their yummy treats!
Best Gluten Free Place EVER!! If you have been looking for good sweets and all gluten free this is the place to go.
Pushkin's Bakery opened last week, serving baked goods that are both gluten-free and dairy-free. Dairy-free doesn't necessarily mean vegan, of course, but they do offer a few vegan options every day, with the glass bakery case clearly indicating which items are vegan. I stopped in last Wednesday and bought one of every vegan item offered that day: a Vegan Chocolate Vanilla Cupcake, a Vegan Chocolate Banana Peanut Butter Cupcake, and a mini-loaf of Vegan Banana Bread. It's become very easy to find vegan cupcakes in Sacramento, but I don't think I'd had banana bread since I went vegan ten-and-a-half years ago. I know, I know -- there are probably lots of good recipes out there and I could have made my own, but I just don't bake much. So it was the banana bread at Pushkin's Bakery that really made my day. In fact, I liked it so much that I went back the next day to buy two more mini-loafs. While I was at it, I bought two mini-loafs of the zucchini bread they offered that day, which was al
We ordered 4 different types of mini cupcakes (cappuccino, berry ganache, andes mint, chocolate with vanilla) and one 4 inch cake for our wedding (naked cappuccino). Everything was delicious and I'm really glad all our guests were able to get a variety. The only thing I wish was that their vanilla cake also came as vegan/gluten free. Only their chocolate cake based options accommodate that.
Popped in while getting coffee at Temple nextdoor. Great selection of pastries and very friendly staff. Everything was fresh. It was hard to decide what I wanted because everything looked so yummy. I ended up getting the #1 breakfast sandwich. I’ll be back!

We had an incredible experience at Pushkin’s Bakery! They have so many gluten free, dairy free and vegan options, and everything we tried was delicious. We loved their #3 breakfast sandwich (see photo!) and got a handful of scones, muffins, breads, and cupcakes. All of the baked goods tasted so fresh and you could have fooled me that they’re gluten free! The staff was also exceptionally friendly. We will definitely stop here every time we’re in Sacramento!

LOVE THIS PLACE!! The sammies, the pastries, the cake! Everything is delicious. I have to remind myself that I live nearby and can come in anytime so I don’t actually have to buy one of everything (even though I want to).
Gluten free, dairy free and some items vegan! It is a very small space that only one or two people can come in while the rest wait in line. One cashier to help bag and pay. We tried the roll, the cinnamon blueberry coffee cake, the cinnamon roll, peanut butter vegan cupcake & the no name. The winners were all! Not hard to fall in love with well made products. Wasn’t too keen on how my cupcake was packaged because it fell apart by the time I got home. Online you can see what items are present daily as it changes. There was a sell for the cinnamon blueberry coffee cake as I’m guessing it was the last day it was on the menu. Great service. There is a perk if you sign up as a frequent buyer.
Was in town looking for a gluten free restaurant and found this gem. Affordable treats as well as delicious. Three tables outside to sit but no indoor seating. They have many baked goods/ pastries and a menu of sandwiches.
Dedicated gluten free, and their vegan items are clearly marked. They were courteous and service was prompt.
Got an assortment of baked goods; Cookies, cupcakes, bread, pastries. It was well worth the extra 20 minute drive to visit them. My companion got the 'Spicy Adult Grilled Cheese', he doesn't usually eat gluten free and he enjoyed the sandwich.
I do recommend getting or bringing a drink, some of the treats were a little dry- as many gf items can be.
There is only outdoor seating with umbrellas, the chairs are definitely not going to be comfortable for larger individuals, so plan accordingly.
Fast and easy service. Wasn’t sure how I felt about gluten free baked goods but I would definitely return to try more. Large selection of different traditional and non-traditional bakery items. Can’t wait to try the whole menu!
Gluten free heaven! I only drop by bakery style to pick up a box of items. I love this place so much. Although, I did have to ask one one to exchange their gloves after handling the cash register and they politely did.
This place is absolutely delicious! I cannot wait to come back to try the other vegan/vegetarian sandos. Their freshly baked gluten-free bread is amazing!
After a nice meal, we were able to walk around and shop because their location is perfectly situated beside Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op. If you are also craving some coffee or tea, Temple Coffee Roasters is only a minute walk away.
