This is one of those places you will love if you want a real authentic Mexican food experience. With that being said, this place is a high dollar price tag, but the portions make up for it. I got the half chicken with rice and beans. Great char good flavor and the portion I received made me wonder what a whole bird would look like, but at a nearly $27 price point I skipped that.

First time dining in for lunch it was kind of pricey but the portion size and the food alone is worth the expense. I had a chicken burrito filled with rice and pinto beans topped with cheese and red sauce on the bottom. The beans were so delicious 😋 I never had those kind of beans that was stuffed in my burrito but the flavor was all there with every bite . The chicken was cooked to perfection and the yellow rice was also very good it was flavorful and fluffy I enjoyed my meal and would definitely be back.
Great food, really enjoyed the atmosphere they had live music and great service! I recommend the sopes de asada!
Such a great place. Tons of good food with good prices. Yummy salsa & papusas. Very authentic. Lots of choices on the menu, ranging from "Tex Mex" to various countries in Central America. All of us loved everything we ordered. Super nice servers. So excited we found this little hole-in-the-wall!
Definitely the best Mexican restaurant in Raleigh. So authentic, great service, and the best food!
The salsa had fresh cut veggies. The onions were crunchy, and the cilantro was fresh.
The queso was creamy and thick.
The art work in the restaurant is incredible. Literally each chair has a unique, carved design.
Authentic music, and warm atmosphere.
This place sets a high bar for what Mexican food should taste like. The flavors are mind blowing! The plating is beautiful. Everything feels so authentic about this restaurant. They even sang happy birthday to me and gave me a slice of Tres Leche cake which was delicious. The only drawback for me was the overly loud, live music. It’s a nice touch, but they had two speakers and it was very hard to even have a conversation with the person sitting across from me.
Other than that, I HIGHLY recommend! Be prepared to wait in line for a little. Once you’re in, it’s worth it!
This has become our go-to Mexican restaurant.
They have a huge menu with favorites from all different Latin countries as well as Tex-Mex.
Ingredients are fresh and flavorful and you definitely taste the difference.
You get large portions for very fair prices.
The service is also very good.
Coming from a real Mexican.. The food was on point! Drinks are strong & meat is tender, wish they had louder music though!
Amazing food, great service, great entertainment. The live music was definitely a plus and the atmosphere makes you feel like you are at an authentic restaurant. This definitely a hidden gem.
