My first time here, definitely not my last. The customer service was great. The ladies were very nice and helpful. The fish was fried to perfection. It was sooo good and crispy. The smothered chicken was good. Only downside was gravy didn’t have any seasoning it was kind of bland.
We came this evening to get something to eat before we went back to VA. Hour before closing they were still busy but they had great customer service and was very helpful. The food was soooooooo good it felt like I just ate at my grandma’s house. Next time I’m in the area I’ll be coming back most definitely
The food was great and service was legit. Wasn’t a fan of the parking situation but I’d definitely revisit!
Love, love, love ....Jack's Seafood & Soul Food....every time I go the service is friendly and professional....the food is delicious and in true soul food restaurant style the portions are ample. Revisited and got their turkey wing meal with two sides. The turkey wings are laid over a bed of rice. I got a side of mustard greens and Mac and cheese. All good ,is all I can say. They have two locations that I have visited and the food and service is great in both. It's not high end dining, but definitely delicious food.
The food was Extremely fresh! The chicken had my mouth watering. I couldn’t eat my food fast enough! The Mac n cheese was my favorite!
THIS is real soul food and good food. Reminds me of my southern grandmas cooking… young ppl, take notes! I will def be back!

I travel across the US and Canada for work and it’s hard finding good southern food. This place hands down is the best I’ve had in the last 3 years. The chicken, Mac and cheese, cabbage are all AMAZING. but that’s not what this is about. The pork chop sandwich…. What place do you know that gives you TWO pork chops! And they are nice and fresh. I’m in a food coma as I type this. Needless to say, go check it out!

Small little hole in the wall I searched for while working one night craving some fried fish near downtown. Good portions for what is fair price for seafood restaurants. Good service and fast. Fish was fried, good little crunch with the batter. Fries and okra were delicious. Hushpuppies were a heavy yellow cornmeal variety. Not my favorite but passable. Only thing I would suggest is a wire rack after frying the fish. I had a large amount of grease at the bottom of my container that had my second piece of fish a little bit soggy.
Update:
Visited a second time got the Three Way Combo with potato salad and mac and cheese. They really hooked me up! Gave me a large amount of fish and the hush puppies were great this time. Potato salad wasn't my favorite. Love the food here but this location gets a little shady at night.
