The food/sauce was really good, and the food came out quick. We got spring rolls for appetizers, and they were hot and one of the best I’ve tried. They have both soupy noodles and dry noodles, and the portions are large and filling. The kids menu was a good size and tasty as well. The service was great, and the lady in the front was so kind to us. I would recommend if you’re in lafayette village! The seating is a little cramped on the inside, but they have lots of outdoor seating if it isn’t too cold.
Best noodles in Wake Forest/Raleigh area!!!!! We've tried most local spots and this is the best overall.
Such a neat little restaurant! First time eating Laos traditional dishes even though I have actually been to Laos very briefly, I mean couple of hours at the market briefly, while touring Thailand.
We all wanted soup for dinner. I had Tonkatsu Ramen - mild, delicious and very comforting. My hubby had spicy Ghang Lao Noodles- says it was a very balanced good kinda spicy. And the kid had Pork Belly Confit Ramen - I have to say these people sure do know how to cook pork. Mine was perfect and even the kid ate his pork fat, which is not usual for him 😋.
I do see few things on the menu to try next time.
If you are thinking about it, just do it! The food here is amazing and it has a great family friendly atmosphere. The employees were so kind and attentive. As I said, if you are thinking about it, consider your decision made!
My fiancé and I live across the street from this place and it’s been a hit every time! I am gluten intolerant and they are always super great about working with me on that and are able to make almost any dish gluten free for me! You can tell the food is made with love and care and it’s family owned which I also love. My fiancé loves the ramen and the buns, and I love all of their noodle dishes! Take out is always a breeze as well. And they always include chopsticks and napkins, never have to be weary about missing anything. If you haven’t been here yet, you need to!
There.is only one reason i periodically go here. A good bowl of soupy noodles, ramen... not the whole package.
Does not feel clean. The space in the back is stuffed with boxes and feels cluttered. Service is OK.
Be aware that you will also get charged for something you would expect to get everywhere, i.e chili oil on the side.
Ultimately, we're going there for comfort Asian noodles, and 90% of the time, it hits the spot.
Stopped in with a friend for lunch and was really impressed with how clean everything was. The staff was very friendly and personable, even the chef popped out to say hello to the guests. The food was amazing. I ordered the Thai place and it was spot on, authentic down to every detail, and it was awesome. I definitely recommend stopping in.
Always great! Fresh and fast!!! The best Ramen and Curry noodles.. try the Larb Gai and Khai Soi. We moved out of town and go back every time we come to Raleigh. The staff of always attentive and friendly!
We're regulars! I highly recommend it. Warning: The papaya salad spice is rated 1-10. They mean it. I have a fairly high spice tolerance and I usually get 2.
Blown away with all the dishes we ordered! There was so much flavor I loved the food here so much. The staff were very nice but the indoor atmosphere was just lacking a bit, odd layout but it was too hot to eat outside.
