I loved the atmosphere.
They have a great variety of food to choose from. Everything I saw coming out around us looked amazing as well.
My dad got the fish and fries and coleslaw with tartar sauce. He said it was the best piece of fish he had tasted in a long time. I did taste the fries and tartar and they were both good, and the slaw looked tasty as well.
I had the Chicago Beef sandwich with jalapeño Mac n cheese. The sandwich was just okay for me, but I also take into account that I typically wouldn't order that type of sandwich and I was wanting something warm and the au jus is what sold me on it and that part was good. The Mac was good; I have had betteri like really creamy Mac, and this was baked. Also, I never tasted any jalapeño.
My overall complaint would be that we ordered Nachos for an app, and after waiting 15 minutes or more, I finally asked about them. The portion was small for the price. They were cold and soggy. I am a bit of a Nacho snob, so a lot of times, you can sell your next visit on me with your appetizer alone if you excel in the nacho department. They need work here with the Nachos.
I would go back, but I don't think I would get what I ordered again.

My wife ate here with a friend and decided she and I and another family member dine there too.
I had the Black and Blue burger with a side of Onion Rings.
First off, though, we had a dish called Crack Fire for an appetizer. It is well done bacon 🥓 wrapped around a cheese 🧀 stuffed Jalapeño pepper. Yum!!
I was happy to discover my 🍔 burger there -- is now my favorite burger 🍔 anywhere near Wake Forest. A 12 outta 10 burger. Yummers!
They have more flat screen TVs on the the walls than even The Carolina Ale House.
They have 2 bars and 2 eating areas. Service was great and food superb.
Place was packed on a Wednesday afternoon at 1 pm.

I’ve know the owner for years and everything he does is first class. Thanksgiving dinner here was outstanding. Great service, insane amount for food for the money. Will do this again here for lunch soon.
We are regular customers. The food is always good, and the service is top notch. Regarding service, one of the great ways they operate is that they have a team approach. All servers are constantly checking on all tables. You’re never neglected or forgotten about. Full bar with cold, draft beer and lots of TVs for watching your favorite game.
Our experience was excellent! I had the Buffalo Smack (macaroni and cheese with bacon, blue cheese and tasty buffalo fried chicken), my wife had the Philly Cheese Steak which was AWESOME! With extra crispy fries that came out perfect. Draft beer was reasonably priced at $6.00 each. Total bill for two with tip was $46 and change. Very reasonable these days!! Would highly recommend!!
I used to rate this place as excellent, but since the pandemic, they're not giving the same portions of food, but charging MUCH higher prices for it. Lots of the good servers have left. You still get decent service, but not as friendly. At least the food tastes the same. This is also the ONLY restaurant I know of that CHARGES a SURCHARGE for using a CREDIT CARD! How tacky can you get?
We ordered takeout and had a drink while waiting. Ordering was easy but the notification it was ready didn't get to me until after the kind bartender checked and we arrived home. The food was worth the aggravation! The jalapeno Mac and cheese is recommended. I will surely return but as friendly as the staff are, it will be takeout again. This place is a bit too cramped for me.
Sport bar restaurants are not our go to places to eat.my wife and I enjoyed our food .we both had the onion soup. I got fish and chips. My wife got a Mac & cheese with Buffalo chicken piled in the center. That brings me to my peeve with a sports bar. Every inch of every wall is covered with a silenced TV, most of which have a talking head. There were a few wood games also muted. What's the point?
Make sure you check the wait times, because this place was packed! My friend and I came back an hour or so later and it was still pretty full, but no wait. This was my first time here and the food was really good! Great portions and flavor! I wanted to try this particular spot, because I saw on Untappd they were the only place in the area with Perni-Haze on draft. Came for the beer and ended up having an all around great experience!
I got the Buffalo Smack and it was absolutely delicious. I added some available salt and pepper and it was even better! Everyone was so attentive to our table if we needed anything not just our waiter. Spent about $59 for two glasses of wine and two meals. Will definitely go again!
