I came here couple months ago w friend, the good was pretty good and fresh and it was only $10/person! Today I took my family here again, coz it’s the weekend so $15/person, but the menu was unbelievable, same the menu like before, plus lobsters, clams, shrimp, and Vancouver Crab!!! Very glad ignored the mix reviews and gave this place a try after all, the parking lot was pretty full so I took a chance. The food was very fresh and hot, everything I tried was tasty and the servers were super attentive. There was someone out at the buffet keeping food rotated every time I went up to the buffet.

I've eaten at more Chinese buffets than I should probably admit to, but this one really hit the mark with both the selection as well as quality of dishes available. The stuffed tofu was delicious, as was the fish fillet in chili oil. Ingredients tasted fresh and were well cooked. Loved the dessert offerings, which were a great mix of Chinese and American. Pricing was amazing, especially for lunch, and I will definitely be returning!
I went to Happy Home Buffet last night with my husband and our granddaughter who is 1yr old. She loved everything she could get her hands on and seemed to feel very comfortable in the space. The owners and staff were wonderful and very welcoming. They mentioned that they intend to add traditional chinese entertainment on weekends in the near future. I am looking forward to it since it will make them more than just a place to eat! Many of the dishes were unique and their attention to detail was very good. Some of the dishes were a little oily for my taste but overall a good time was had by one and all!
An excellent new buffet! I've eaten here four or five times now and expect to return many more. Overall the food is excellent. I've tried almost everything and have no complaints. The Wellington is my favorite, but the roast chicken is delicious, as is the beef and pork. The sauces are well done - not as unauthentically sweet as most Chinese restaurants in America. For the kids, the Mac and cheese and French fries are really good for a buffet, and the chicken tenders will keep the timid full. But you must try the Wellington; you won't be sorry. I wonder about the few poor reviews I see. I suspect they're saboteurs who probably haven't even eaten here. And the price is quite reasonable for everything. And, NO, it doesn't cost $25 dollars with a soda, or even $20. If you aren't pleased by Happy Home Buffet, you probably just don't like eating out anywhere. It's every bit as good as Hokkaido; I prefer it. If you go, you'll go back.
Good food at a great price. I’ve gone here twice in total; both times left me satisfied, and the place seemed quite clean as well. (I was honestly surprised by the number of one-star and two-star reviews for this place, since I personally didn’t experience any major issues.)
Great service!!!! Food was good as well. I was very hesitant to eat here because of all of the bad reviews, but I was blown away. This was honestly one of the best chinese buffets I've ever been to. So much to choose from and it was mostly great. Our waiter was constantly checking on us and provided service you only see at the best restaurants. I will most definitely be back.
I had dinner with my friends last night. Service was awesome and the room was comfortable. Food was absolutely wonderful, having fish, shrimp, roasted duck, crab and all kinds of snacks This is definitely the best Chinese buffet in Pittsburgh! Will be back!
We were seated immediately and got our drinks right after we sat down. The waiters were tentative and friendly. We come here a few times a year and have yet to be disappointed.
The food quality is very good for a Chinese buffet.
