I drive all the way from Plum Boro to eat here and it is SO worth it! The food is amazing, the staff is awesome, the prices are reasonable, and the vibe there is great. I had a vegan pizza and a bbq seitan melt ... to die for! 10/10 would recommend.
My sister and I ordered the Philly cheese steak with vegan dressing it was the best cheese steak we had in awhile. I orderd my girls 2 slices of cheese pizza and they loved it. We thought we could have a food cheat day (we don't eat refined sugar or bread dough anymore) can't say I was bummed out it was excellent. We live 2 1/2-3 hrs away. Definitely will eat there again when we go back to Children's Hospital.
Very friendly hole in the wall with great service and very tasty pizza. Had the barbecue chicken pizza and it was very good. Could have used some extra sauce but that's a personal preference. Lots of gluten and vegan options. I'm interested in trying a different selection next time in the area.
So delicious and fabulous vegan seitan wings in honey mustard sauce with ranch, so well done vegan bread sticks with tomato sauce and so great vegan Pittsburgh sandwich! We loved it all ate it all and will come back for more. Very friendly owner and staff. You can't go wrong with this spot in Pittsburgh, they serve also non-vegan regular menu. So everyone can enjoy!! Seriously this self-made seitan is better than in LA.
I’ve been a vegan for 7-8 years & I’ve only had Vegan Pizza here! They did mess it up a couple times & put regular cheese so do check your pizza before you leave

But these Seiten wings here at Spak Brothers are somehow beyond a galactic level of amazing, the garlic ones especially…. & ONLY $7!!!!!

So happy to find an Italian place that offers such good options for vegan eaters. They have pizzas, calzones, salads, subs, and fries that I can’t wait to try. I ordered a vegan calzone that was delicious with a side of vegan garlic sauce that was beyond this world!! The ordering process is super easy and the pick up even more.
Today I took a walk from Children's hospital to a few stores and decided to stop at Spak Brothers on my Way back. They have a wide selection of spectacular Pizza,Subs, calzones, salads and Appetizers. There is also quite a decent selection of drinks and my most favorite #TurnersIceTea. Service was exceptionally fast and the owner and other employees were very friendly and helpful.
The Blue Steak sub is excellent it has fresh chipped steak, fresh minced garlic, mushrooms, onions and green Peppers.

I think these guys are the best vegan pizza/sandwhich shop in Pittsburgh, no joke no scam. It’s not all vegan but that’s ok. Their pizza is a very large portion. I normally get their vegan cheesesteaks or their vegan calzone, which sometimes I prefer over their pizza. You need to order online, and there’s no sit down in the restaurant itself, but the nearby brewery offers seating so I go there to eat pizza. Overall, you can’t go wrong.
I’ve eaten at Spak Bros more times than I can count now and it is incredible every.single.time.. The vegan food is some of the best I have ever had. The seitan cheesesteaks, salad, wings, vegan pizza and calzones are insanely delicious, flavorful, and are very large, filling portions. My food is always ready so fast and the staff is very friendly!! 1000% recommend Spak Bros to everyone I know!!!
Spak Bros is always a solid option for your pizza, subs and wings needs in the Bloomfield/Garfield area. On top of just being a great option in general for these things regularly, they also provide options for the gluten free, lactose free and vegetarian. Their seitan is pretty tasty. Though I normally just go for their Pittsburgh Steak sub. A full one easily will take care of dinner and lunch the next day.
Spak Brothers has THE BEST pickle pizza in all of Pittsburgh. When you order it, make sure to order the vegan ranch to dip your slices in - 20/10. My friends and I like to order a Spak pickle pizza if we're grabbing a drink at Two Frays, so that we can sit and eat and drink. The perfect combination!
The vegan calzone was fantastic! The service for a Saturday night was super speedy, despite having an estimated time of 60-65 minutes, I actually was able to pick up after 40. The vegan calzone was really good and the ricotta was great! Definitely will be back to try to seitan cheesesteak!
