Family run shop with the Best ice cream anywhere in Pittsburgh. Most nights there is a line, but it moves quickly since there is enough staff to wait on you. Love it!!
Just moved to Pittsburgh from Indiana and finally decided to try this place after seeing lines around the corner every night. We were completely smitten by their old school charms and wide variety of flavors, sauces, and toppings. Something for everyone and endless combinations. Great service and even better portions. I will be sharing this gem with everyone I know.
I'm a Pittsburgh native, from the south hills in fact; but I just tried Page's for the first time this week. I must say, I was pleasantly surprised. I had a steak hoagie that was quite possibly one of the best hoagies ever. I also had a pineapple milkshake, which was delicious. Suffice it to say, I will definitely be returning.
Best banana milkshakes ever!!! Chocolate chip cookie sundaes made with Nancy b cookies can't be beat!!! I've had a lot of different things always been happy. FoodFather approved!!
Tastes like classic!!! Just classic. As good as it gets .....it just tastes classic!! Possibly the greatest ice cream EVER!!!!!!!
I have passed this place at least a hundred times and always to know why they were always packed. Well I finally stopped and it was so worth it. Awesome selection with unique desserts. Can't wait to bring more people to try it :)
I Scream for...... Ice Cream!
Great place. Passed it a million times, but today I figured I'd give it a try. Great selection of soft serve flavors, like raspberry, orange, peanut butter, COFFEE! Great selection of sundaes, and other ice cream dishes. Ice Cream and Sticky Bun Sundae looks awesome.
This is a great place all around, I wholly recommend this place!
My husband's favorite. This is my husband's favorite ice cream store. He always get a south side shake, which is a shake and a sundae in a drink cup. Because they sell gift cards in any monetary value you need, it makes it easy for my children and myself to get him a present we know he will use. Myself I like the ice cream cone, as their ice cream is creamier than anywhere else I have been.
Summertime in Pittsburgh wouldn't be the same without Page's. Its been a tradition in my family since as long as I can remember and my 2 year old seems pretty happy to continue it:)
DQ who?!. Since I moved to Baldwin 5 years ago and discovered Page's, nothing else compares. The sundae portions are so big that 2 people can share and their prices are very reasonable. I took my cousin to Page's this past summer, when she came in from Florida and she fell in love! lol
Sooooo Good. 1,000 times better than DQ. We both got Swirls (Blizzards) and both thought they were very good. The menu is huge and will likely cause us to return about 30 more times this summer.
Best Ice Cream ever!. This is the best place to get ice cream, when in season its a must do on a hot day or any day :) they have like a millon of tasty flavors!!
Page's is a Pittsburgh institution when it comes to ice cream. I ordered the oat milk soft serve. It was very soft and was melting quickly. It wasn't the best dairy-free ice cream I have had, but I was grateful that a "dairy mart" ice cream establishment had a dairy-free option available. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They served the long line of customers efficiently without seeming stressed.
I have been here probably a dozen times now and always leave extremely happy! My current favorite is a custom arctic swirl of black raspberry ice cream with raspberry sauce and cotton candy pieces! The new fall menu is also AMAZING!!! If you are someone who loves endless possibilities at good prices, this is the place for you. Everyone who works here is also really nice! The lines can get crazy long, but they’re worth it.
Some of the best ice cream in Pittsburgh. They have a ton of different treats and sweets to choose from and also a ton of different ice cream flavors. Even though there was a huge line wrapped around the building it was worth the wait.
There is always a line and is super busy, the service is kind and quick. It just goes to show how dedicated people are to the best ice cream stop around. They have memorabilia all around. I got a black raspberry cheesecake arctic swirl.
Always a pleasure to visit pages. The sundaes here are absolute amazing. The cold ice cream with warm brownie is a great combo. Must try. The lines can get a little long but usually moves along pretty quickly. The worst wait was about an hour during a summer holiday where everyone wanted to come out for ice cream
The wait wasn’t that bad at all and definitely worthy and considered as part of the experience you would feel as if you time traveled years ago when the fast food shops were just started.
Surprisingly amazing burgers!
Brewmisu and the almond raspberry torte were outstanding!! Very nicely crafted ice creams with interesting blend of flavors and textures.
We had a blast!
I love this place and stop in every time I am in Pittsburgh. My parents went here in the 50s on their first date. Don't let the huge line that wraps around the building scare you. It moves relatively fast and it's so worth it! Plus you might make some new friends in line!!
Ice scream you scream, we all scream for ice cream!
Had to head to a new place for us that is listed on the "55 of the Best Ice Cream Shops in the Country” according to Real Simple Magazine: Page Dairy Mart. The kids were craving milkshakes! I have no idea if anything changed from when we went, but they only accepted cash so be prepared just in case. A nice experience!
Update: They now accept cash, card and Apple Pay 😊
I can see why it’s considered one of the best ice cream places in the country. The sundaes are enormous!
Generations of Pittsburghers have come to Paige Dairy Mart on the South Side. It is hands down the best ice cream period. Come park your car and dive into fantastic flavors and friendly service. If your looking for a sweet treat Paige's is not to be missed.
