Amazing and special breakfast foods, fantastic service (thanks Elizabeth) and even a selection of newspapers and help yourself coffee if you are waiting (we were greeted warmly and seated immediately).
We loved the banana granola crunch pancake, maybe the best ever. I’m going for two next time!
First Watch is a relatively new brunch chain which my wife REALLY enjoyed over in Philly last month.
We will be checking out their location on 50 West in Bridgeville next.
This is our new favorite brunch spot in all of Pittsburgh (sorry Square Cafe, First Watch has left you in the dust for us).
LOVED EVERYTHING! All was fresh & wonderful. Fresh ingredients, fresh squeezed juice. Friendly service, no wait to sit. We may be back today for lunch the food was soooo good! We had chicken breakfast burrito, eggs, bacon, waffles, sausage gravy w/ biscuits.
The food here is amazing! I love the healthy and different menu options. The service had some kinks at first but is now really great as well. I love the bacado omelet for breakfast (usually I get it made with egg whites) and the chicken salad melt for lunch. The kale tonic is decent but even better is their coffee. I wish they were open all day but for now, only breakfast, brunch, and lunch. This is the only restaurant in the area that I give a 5!
First Watch is fine place to have brunch. My daughter and I had a variety of food to choose from. We decided on the Traditional breakfast which was very good and I must say that the service was quick. Our server was very nice and kind as well as thorough in getting our order just right. The atmosphere was pleasant we did not have to wait in a long we were seated rather quickly. Looking for a place to have brunch I would recommend First Watch. Kid friendly as well as Senior friendly.
Really loved the place. The BLT eggs benedict was exquisite. Love the hint of lemon. I enjoyed my tea and my hubby had his morning coffee and an omelette. Yum
Very delicious and filling for the price. If you want coffee, they bring you your own large pot. The multi-grain plate-sized pancakes were soft and delicious and the syrup was in a heated glass bottle. My server, Taylor, was friendly, courteous, and professional. Various seating arrangements were available including a bar booth near the entrance, large family tables, dinettes (seats 2), and single/solo tables (probably just for the coffee, tea drinkers and light breakfasts). Glad I tried this place even though I lived up the street when they first opened years ago.
Another amazing brunch at one of my all-time favorite restaurants!! Brought my mom and sister here as a break from my dad's hospital stay (he loves it too!) and what a welcome distraction having Alexa take care of us...she's not only affable and charming but knows the menu well...we had a delightful experience and appreciate excellent service when we see it - we're an old school Italian restaurant family!! Keep up the good work, FW and Alexa...you're both going to great heights!! IMHO, always order the biscuits and gravy!!
My new favorite breakfast spot. The friendliest hostess greeted us and our waitress Jay was friendly and attentive. The place (including bathroom) was very clean and the atmosphere was so comfy. And the food was SUPERB. The Morning Meditation juice is amazing... I would never have guessed that something with beets in it could taste so good. And the HUGE Banana Granola pancake made me wish my eyes weren't bigger than my stomach today. I couldn't finish it, but it was DEEEElicious. Have a meal here soon, you'll thank me 🙂
We always have the most incredible food and service here! We no longer live in Pittsburgh, but we are always sure to stop here when we visit. The steak burrito and brioche French toast are incredible. Olivia has taken care of us twice now and we really enjoy her service, too.
Very cool brunch spot, food is delicious and beautifully plated. I highly suggest the Honey Caramel cold brew coffee drink, and the smoked salmon eggs Benedict were delectable! Will definitely be back!
Service was very good. There was a pleasant atmosphere and the biscuits and turkey 🦃 gravy was amazing. I make sausage gravy myself and that has me rethinking everything. 😂 Very good breakfast!!!
Both the service and the food are incredible. Also, they offer a wide variety of menu items from classic diabetes kickstarters to health conscious vegan juices.
A very comfortable atmosphere. Be prepared for a wait for up to 30 minutes when it’s busy. The food is delicious and the service is fast but incredibly friendly. They know regulars by name and usually have their orders memorized
