My favorite place to get biscotti when in the strip district. The cranberry is to die for and I just had a salted caramel, Heaven! Please don't stop making those. The Pepperoni roll is the best too.
Insanely good food, super friendly staff. Highly reccomend the Italian sub, worth the few min wait.
Meatball parmesan sandwich: the tomato sauce is fantastic. Some of the best since I left Jersey. The meatballs are light, flavorful, no filler. These taste the like the ones my grandmother made. This place is not to be missed. It's all made from scratch. Besides, where else can you have a sandwich made by a guy with a cigar (unlit) in his mouth.
There may be larger bakeries on the strip, but no one has a better pepperoni roll. It's 18 inches long 4 inches wide 3 inches tall, weighs 2 pounds, and was only five dollars. Tremendous taste for a tiny amount of money. Highly recommended. We bought one of these to share at the park during the Pirates game. Ask for a little bit of tomato sauce to dip it in: even better.
Best Pepperoni Roll in The Strip District. Maybe not the most expansive selection of Italian groceries (compared to Penn Mac) but their Pepperoni Rolls are, hands down, the best available in Pittsburgh.
The best Pepperoni Roll I have ever tasted! Hands down! A huge roll, roughly 2 pounds, very heavy, and it’s full of pepperoni! Will definitely return for another roll.
Espresso Chocolate Biscotti is also delicious.
We like this place and stop in when were in the city. It has evolved into a restaurant and food, cheese, bakery and frozen prepared food take-away. Stop in say hi to Ross and pick up a pepperoni roll or sandwich. Competitive pricing and good products, we like this place and keep it on our hit-list. Friendly, clean and delicious food.
Love the food and service. Best pepperoni rolls ever in my lifetime. I seriously don’t know how anyone can do better!
Conoli are made fresh, wonderful owners. If your from out of town and want to go where the locals go this is your place. Good food warm welcoming.
Pepperoni rolls here are amazing. Always have to grab a couple when I’m in the Strip!

Best pepperoni roll in the world and if you knew the owners you would know how special this place is to the city.
Great place to visit while in the strip. I would highly recommend ordering hot food from them, particularly the hoagies. I don't know of anywhere in the city you can get an Italian hoagie for a better price. Also, they are meats and cheeses are very good. And if you are making wedding soup they sell free made, frozen wedding soup meatballs that will make like much easier.
Traveling back to Florida with 6 pepperoni rolls... Couldn't leave without them.
Good prices, especially on cheese...Quality products
Edit 3/10/23; we went back to Jimmy and Nino's on 3/7. This time I bought 8 Pepperoni Rolls, 2lbs of Peppered Cappa, 1lb of Peppercorn Salami, a fabulous slice of pizza, 3 cannoli, and a quart of wedding soup! FFS, Id be 500lbs if I lived closer! EVERYTHING is the best tasting EVER! I use to think that Noday's located in Youngstown (Austintown) Ohio had great Pepperoni Rolls,. That was until I had Jimmy and Nino's. Well now I know I must drive back to the Burgh to get more. Jimmy and Nino's in, Noday's out!
