I loved this place, the couple who run it is so sweet. I like the food so much better then Blu Mediterranean down the street because it's actually made when you order it instead of big piles under heat lamps all day.

The food is ok, however it's hotter than hell during the summer. The blurry old TV shows Arab soap operas, the decor is depressing and the lady who's works there never smiles.

Friendly folks, heavy accents could be a problem for some. I've done business here for over 15 years. Still what I compare the gyros (and yogurt sauce!) to when I eat them somewhere else. Not the cleanest little shop, and I'm sure their rent is cheap as well. Mom and pop are usually in the corner watching tv when they aren't busy. Normally a "one woman" crew.

Pretty Good Gyro!. As people have mentioned- the atmosphere and decor isn't anything to go back for- but the food is amazing. Authentic. Be adventurous and try the kabobs or other things on the menu. Sometimes the gyro is a bit too bland or greasy. This isn't a consistent experience but still tastier than any of the fast food places near by. Not as spiced as I have had it at other places but the serving size is pretty big and the quality is good for the price. I would recommend people to check it out and try. There are better gyro places- but not on the south side of this town. The cook/owners are nice. They seem to work hard and probably don't get a lot of foot traffic to justify to stay open - hence the low profile decor and service. Hope you check it out!

Nice little place. But don't go there for the atmosphere or decor!

I used to eat there regularly as a quick stop on my way home when I felt like some hummus and dolma.

These little places tend to have better food than corporate mega restaurants. Inexpensive.

Great for lunch. This one is going on my regular lunch list. I really enjoyed the gyro lunch special. Looks like its ran by an older Middle Eastern/Greek couple. Not much in the way of conversation as the woman was on the phone the entire time I was there and the man was sitting on the curb out front enjoying the weather.

This place is great! Small mom and pop place doing it the best way. The gyro meat was somewhat spicy but that's the way I think it should be. The price was right and the family atmosphere makes me want to go back.

So I had that craving for a gyro, the one where you need one and need one NOW. Hit Anna's for the first time and was really happy we did. The family that runs it was really nice. They had some friends that were eating-in at the same time we were. While the family wasnt cooking and serving food, they were all talking away around the table in Greek. It made for a fun atmosphere. If you don't want venture outside of the southside. Anna's is the place to hit.

Not the Greatest but Tasty. Anna's is definitely a hole in the wall mom & pop eatery. Order at the counter and they bring it out to you. Nothing fancy when it comes to appearance. I had the gyro lunch special. $5.99 for med drink, fries and gyro. Drink refills are 50 cents. Fries are shoestring cut which are my favorite. Yogurt sauce was a little bland but the gyro itself was fresh, hot and delicious. I'd go back again.

Look at this, do you see how crispy and fresh these fries are??? Do you see how clean the oil was? This is legit the best gyro on this side of town. Do you see how she packed that thang FULL of meat?? The tzatziki?? Stop. And the best value. $7.58 for the combo. You can’t beat it.

The food was great! nice lil hole in the wall places. The gyros were PHAT. Never have I ever had a gyro that thick. Thanks for the food! I'll be back.

First time here and read other reviews on the AC not working but we decided to dine in anyway. The gyros was outstanding, flavorful and piles of meat enough so to make 2. It’s a great deal the combo gyro with fries and drink for $5.49 + tax. Definitely will return

The food is amazingly delicious and fresh! The tzatziki sauce was the absolute best I've had and fresh too. The fries were hot and delicious. The service was top notch. Their prices are very reasonable. Unfortunately for them their ac was down on this particular day otherwise I would have given 5 stars for the atmosphere as well. The facility is clean and well kept. I will definitely be back for sure. Thank you Anna's!

Without a doubt, the best gyros in Oklahoma city. I have eaten many at various places, but their meat is tender, served hot, and well portioned. The prices are extremely reasonable.

My husband has been eating here since 2011. Knowing I love Mediterranean, my husband insisted we make a detour from our old regulars, so I could try the food at Anna's Gyro's This small mom and pop shop is locally owned and operated by the cutest elderly couple, who have been operating at this location for at 11 years, possibly longer. My husband ordered the lamb gyro by itself and I ordered the Koobideh kabob and what I thought was a small Greek side salad. The food was made fresh to order and brought to the table in closed to go boxes. Due to the Covid 19, I appreciated that extra measure of precaution, as there were others in the restaurant. My husband received an overflowing amount of meat in his gyro, along with yogurt sauce, and I received a huge Greek salad, two very large beef kabobs, yogurt sauce, (and it clearly says yogurt sauce, not tzatziki sauce on the menu), along with enough rice to fill the entire bottom of the box and a small container filled with Persian salad, (tomato, cucumber and onion). All of the food was extremely fresh and very tasty, including the yogurt sauce. To address some things I read in the other reviews about this place... 1. My husband is OCD about germs. So OCD, he is CDO. The restaurant looked and smelled clean. He looked over the floor, tables and counter before we even ordered. Had he seen signs of bugs or uncleanliness, we would have left immediately. In addition, in the 11 years he has eating here, he has never had a problem with his food. 2. This restaurant is a MEDITERRANEAN restaurant, not a Greek restaurant. Almost all Mediterranean restaurants serve gyro and other similar dishes, but they don't all serve tzatziki sauce. Why? Because there are multiple styles of Mediterranean food such as: Syrian, Greek, Irainian, Israeli, Jordanian, Lebanese, etc. Each has their own spice flavor palette, their own type of bread, and their own type of sauces. If you're specifically looking for a Greek flavor palette, don't rate someone badly because you didn't bother to take five minutes to find out what style of food they cook. Instead of dash and grab, take five minutes to know the people that prepare your food. 3. With Covid19 running rampant for nearly a year now, every human being on the planet knows you can only go to the drink station one time. Refilling a container that you have used is not Covid19 compliant. If a restaurant owner gets caught allowing someone to refill a possibly Covid19 infected cup at the drink station, they could be shut down. Anyone that doesn't know that by now must be living under a rock and shouldn't be going out in public and putting everyone's lives at risk. 4. I don't know what the issue was over the price, but this is an elderly couple and English is not their first language. They speak English just fine, but sometimes it is difficult to remember the right words if someone is behaving badly in front of you or if there is a word or two you don't understand. Not saying that is what happened. However, as with all true ethnic restaurants, (and might I add, persons old enough to be your parents and should be treated with respect just for that), diplomacy, patience and respect should be in order when resolving confusion or conflicts. 5. This is a mom and pop, owner operated shop that is open 7 days a week. If you order food, they cook it, allow you to eat there and then lock the door after you leave, even though it is the middle of the day and they don't close until 8 pm, do you suppose they might have had an appointment somewhere they needed to go to? They don't have any staff to cover, so they have to close if something comes up. In summary, Anna's Gyros is locally owned and operated. The owner operators are long standing members of the community who make excellent fresh Mediterranean food, with generous portions, at a low price. If you seek Mediterranean food, or even American food, (burgers, corn dogs, fries, onion rings, cheese sticks, fried mushrooms, etc.), I highly recommend Anna's Gyros.

This was my first time to try Anna's and I was very pleased. The food quality was excellent and there was definitely enough for 2. Cooked to order with a fresh garden & a pile of fresh French fries. Nice couple owns and operates the restaurant. Don't believe the negative reviews and just try it for yourself if you like Gyros. Just because people aren't fake, cheesy nice doesn't mean they're rude.

It may not look like much, but it really is a hole in the wall treasure. This is the only place we will get gyros from! Update: the prices are still the same and same quality!
