Best menudo on south side. Taqueria juarez serves by far the best menudo in town, ive tried it in several places but none of them even come close to the taste than the one served at this place. they also make corn tortillas from scratc, not coming off a conveyor belt or from a store. this place has been in south side oklahoma city for about 14yrs and doesnt show signs of letting up on its taste and they keep adding new items to the menu at customers request , ofcourse these are authentic mexican delicasies...enjoy!!!
Especial. This order comes with three tacos of your choice,drink, and a to die for baked potato! I recommend that anyone carpooling for lunch go there! My co-workers and I LOVE IT!
Great Discada. A friend of mine took me here a couple of months ago. Since then, we've been going about once a week for lunch. The discada is amazing...if you don't know what that is, google it. It has kind of a cool history. Order at the front and they'll bring you your drink. If you're new and not quite sure what to order, just get 3 tacos: 1 Fajita (chicken or beef), 1 Asada, and 1 Discada...I always get two discada.
Food is always delicious. Its always crowded and way busy but the service is fast. Only bad part is parking issues.

If you wonder what mexican people eat at home this is the place to go. The family is from Chihuahua so expect the food to be regional to that part of Mexico. Most of the staff speak Spanish as their first language so if you're not familiar with the language just be patient and I promise you the food is worth it. I see a lot of people complaining that the tacos are mostly meat, I guess they don't realize that meat is the most expensive part. I see a lot of people recommending the baked potatoes. I wouldn't go to a mexican restaurant for baked potatoes. I recommend the tacos of buche, or barbacoa. For the people complaining about lack of salt, that's what the salsa is for. They have a large salsa bar. The reason this place is always packed is because it's the best
I've been eating here for 25 years now and there food tastes exactly the same now as it did back then...which is to say it is amazing. Over the 25 years of dining here my only negative experiences, just a few of them were with the wait staff being rude and rushing tou out b/c the seating is limited. Overall I still give it 5 stars.
Tortillas are regular-sized, they are not like the street taco mini-tortillas. The corn tortillas are homemade. The taco meat was good but was not seasoned, it needed a little salt. The salsas were good, tho. I ordered a baked potato, taco and drink combo. It was decent but i asked (and paid extra) for carne asada meat to be added to my baked potato and i didn't get it. I don't live here and am just passing through so i didn't bother going back to fix it. The employees were helpful and friendly.
