This is definitely not Tex Mex. This is real Mexican food. Some dishes are a little spicy but very good.
Honestly this is great Mexican food. Usually when you hear buffet you think of cold not great tastong food, but this is the total opposite. This food tastes great! The food is always hot and comes out frequently. The desert is also fantastic! They serve actual cake, i do not know from where but it tastes so good! I totally recommend this place to everyone who likes great tasting authentic mexican food! Hopefully you like it just as much as me.
I usually don't eat Mexican buffet. Berta's is the exception. The food was fresh and exceptionally good. I liked their small salad bar as well as the dessert bar. I will be back but next time I am bringing family and friends.
Basic mexican home cooking. Everything tasted very good. My waitress who although spoke little english was extremely nice and helpful. Nothing fancy here but I walked away full and happy and I am sure will return again.
This review is definitely for white people. If you are coming for what you consider to be Mexican, but is actually tex-mex, you are going to be disappointed! However, the food here is amazing and authentic! I pop in for lunch since I work just around the corner and the food is always fresh and hot! It's cheap as well!
This place combines two of my most favorite types of restaurant. Mexican, and Buffet. Just imagine being able to fill up on your favorite Mexican dish until you can't go anymore. Then imagine you have to be carried out in a wheelbarrow. That's what you get here. I love it. And I think you will too.

I'm a pretty sceptical guy when it comes to eating at places I've never heard of. Especially, when it comes to hispanic food. However I'm glad I gave this place a chance.
If you come here expecting Taco bell, On the border or any other restaurant chain of that nature. You're setting yourself up to be disappointed. "Speaking to you my American brethren"
This restaurant buffet serves authentic hispanic food. And I have to say, it's pretty da*n good. I also like that after eating ALOT of it in one sitting. I don't feel super tired or sluggish. So I'm assuming it's far healthier than what the big guy's serve.
The only issue's I had was lack of choice. However it really wasn't to big of an issue. Because the food that's available is really fantastic. This coming from the worlds pickyest eater.
Yes, there is a little bit of a language barrier. However it didn't hinder our dinning experience. And if there was ever that possibility. I have a smartphone and Google translator at the ready.
In conclusion I feel this place is horribly underrated. I enjoyed the atmosphere. The staff as well and especially the food. Which has not upset my stomach or body in any way an hour after the fact. It's not a 5 star restaurant. But for the price and service. Definitely worth it and I recommend you give it a try...ty
I came in after hearing a review if the place. It's real Mexican food and not tex-mex so if that's not what you are looking for go down the street to Taco Bell. I thought it was really good and so did the people with me. We will be back again
Great Mexican food. NOT Tex-Mex, but original Mexican. The buffet changes daily, so you never know what to expect. Whatever it is will be good though.
Good place to eat good buffet everything seems fresh, good soups, changes (choices) menu on buffet daily, the only thing I don't like is they did not serve hominy with their menudo I am used to eating menudo with hominy it just taste a whole lot better
