This place was awesome. I live in the area and had meant to try this place for a while. The place is run by a family, and all the food is made there. The lady who helped was super nice and helpful. I had never tried this type of food before and she made me fresh samples to try. The chicken rice dish is fantastic as well as everything else I tried. She says she makes the dressing for all the salads in house, so I really want to try the salads sometime too. Would definitely recommend to anyone slightly adventurous with their food!!
Great flavorful food!! We have had the chicken fatta, beef fatta, Egyptian quesadilla and spicy potatoes and don’t know which I liked better! And for a really Great price! The service is So friendly and helpful in helping us decide what we would like. This place is a must on the places to go and enjoy a great meal!
Everything was an explosion of flavor. You almost need to give your mouth a rest in between bites. Very friendly service, good portions, and wow on the lemonades. They almost need watering down they pack so much of a punch! Would definitely go back.
The food is freshly made, very clean, great customer service, fast delivery to the table and a great atmosphere! This is my favorite place in OKC now.
Do you enjoy gyros, but wish there was more spice? This is your place. Middle Eastern food with a facade easier for the average American to take in. What I have eaten is perfectly spicy (for those of us who don't chase spicier spices) The hot tea is also delicious. Yummy Mummy catered the recent UCO event "Middle Eastern" event. The restaurant is a work in progress looking to expand. Expect menu changes, but feel free to (politely) give the owner feedback! He is very friendly!
This place has amazing food! Don’t underestimate it, chicken fata is amazing. I had never had or tried hummus before, the red pepper hummus amazing!! Just try it, won’t be disappointed!
The food is incredibly tasty and fresh. Lemonade is made at the time of order. Friendly staff too!
I found a fun new place for lunch! Stopped in on a whim and the owners were very nice and courteous. The setting is very clean and enjoyable to be in. Ordered the Beef Mummy wrap and the flavor is really good and the wrap is grilled and crispy. It's a refreshing place to grab some lunch. The portions are very filling. Can't wait to try more!
We've eaten at Yummy Mummy several times and tried various menu items. We have always been pleased with the food and the service. My personal favorites are the tomato soup and the spicy potatoes. Everything is prepared by hand and is very fresh. Very sweet couple own and run the business. They take great pride in their work and cook with love.
Excellent! The customer service here is outstanding. I feel like I’m eating at an Egyptian relative’s home. Me and my husband usually eat the yummy mummy wraps with the spicy potatoes. Absolutely amazing. The owner usually gives us a free sampling of something while we wait and it always ends up being something amazing. I feel like I’m experiencing a new culture when I dine here. Thank you for the experience!
Absolutely delicious! The owners are very kind and insist on high quality. I have several favorites here, including pita and hummus, falafel, and their gyros. There are plenty of delicious- sounding items on the menu that I haven't tried, which, along with the friendly atmosphere, keeps me coming back. Give this place a try!
It's a really cute little restaurant! I got the Spicy Potatoes appetizer and the Chicken Fatta. If you like cilantro and spices, the potatoes are for you, definitely! I liked them a lot. The Fatta had a great taste and was seasoned well, though in spots the chicken was a little dry. Overall, my friends and enjoyed the experience. Try it!
