Service was great. Food was good. Music was a little loud for conversations but overall a good experience. $$
Our waitress Bridget was phenomenal. We were sitting next to someone who was being a pain for her. But she was professional, polite, and courteous. Definitely going to be come back and requesting her. She did incredible. Keep up the good work if this gets brought up to you! 🙂
We went about an hour before a movie at the mall and specifically asked if we would have enough time since it was a Friday night and the place seemed busy. We were seated at the bar so we could get in and out faster and the service was great. We both had chicken quesadillas and they were really top notch. I was surprised at how good the food was, actually, because I wasn't expecting it to be great, but we'll definitely be going back.
What an AMAZING experience!! My much better half and I went to dinner here last night. We recently moved to OKC from Norman and have been craving El Chico for weeks. We finally were able to make some time to drive to Quail Springs and eat at our favorite Tex-Mex place. We were a little worried about the food not being the same as in Norman but it was perfect. Seemed a little slow for dinner time, but I guess that worked out in our favor. Our overall experience could not have been better, especially our server Ginger! She makes you feel at home. I haven't met someone so attentive and thoughtful. Completely worth the trip up there. If you do find yourself eating here, be sure to ask to sit in Ginger's section. You will not regret it!
Had a great experience at lunch today. Lori waited on us (sorry if I spelled that wrong) and she was amazing! She did ask for my ID when I ordered a drink, and I was extremely excited about giving it to her. She made my day bc I’m not asked for my ID much these days. Thank you Lori for being so friendly and for making our experience at El Chico a memorable one!!! We will definitely go back!
Awesome service the entire time. The server forgot one drink but it was pretty easy to forget at least one thing when you are doing as much as he was. The food was hot and I mean seriously hot so it was definitely freshly made. It tasted as good as one can expect at a tex mex place. And that is not to say it was not good because it was but if you are looking for authentic Mexican this is not the place to go. I have been here several times and the food and service has always been good which is why I have continued to return. Prices are also good for what you are getting. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a reasonably priced tex mex meal.
Super Tex-Mex eating. Salsa is the best in town. Chips always served nice and warm. Wife loves super spicy "green" salsa. We ALWAYS ask for Mallory, she gives incredible service. Noticed that overall salt content is down, which is great! Less salt, more flavor and better health. Never disappointed!
Fajita chicken nachos were awesome, and half price. Monday nights, all nachos and domestic draw beer are half-price. What a bargain! The red sauce was out of this world tonight. Service is excellent, as always.
Celebrated a birthday, had the sweetest, most helpful waitress. Food was hot, tasty even though it was 2 p.m. got the yummy birthday dessert to share. Total 4 star experience.
They have the best apple pie in the universe... and cinnamon ice cream. If you go, ask for Dustin. He's been there forever, awesome at keeping drinks full, and very knowledgeable of the menu.
