This is the best Chinese food in OKC Metro. We are regulars the staff is always friendly to us and the food is great! We have been eating out here for over 20 years. This is one of our favorite go to places.
Finally!!!!!. I was a devoted customer of King Wah in Midwest City. Since they have closed I think I have tried almost every Chinese restaurant in Midwest City & Del City. I had given up on finding something that even came close to King Wah. Most restaurants meals seem to come from the same frozen food service. What I missed most was the egg rolls with a hint of cinnamon and the chicken fried rice with the cubed chicken. I'm happy to report that Canton Palace has both. The Hawaiian Chicken is also very familiar. It looks like an actual chicken breast and is crispy, batter fried and sliced. If you have been looking for a King Wah replacement or if you just want Chinese food that doesn't taste like something from the freezer section, this is the place.
Delicious!!!!. My boyfriend told me about the Hawaiian chicken there a few years ago, but had never given it a try. Went there finally & was blown away by how delicious it was! I've lived in Del City for many years, but always went to the other place. Their prices & taste of their food blows Mandarin away! Love their subgum rice (veggie fried rice)! Glad I went!
My better half has told me about this place for years and I finally gave in and tried it today. Yes it looks like a dumpster fire but let me tell you the food is excellent. I love their egg drop soup (best I've ever had), the Hawaiian Chicken was delicious and tender, and lastly the garlic frittered chicken is the best I've ever had. It wasn't rubbery and they managed to carry the garlic flavor all throughout the chicken.
My only negative was the egg rolls.
Whenever I'm back on the eastside I'm definitely going back.

If you miss MWC King Wah then look no further. My husband loved King Wah's egg rolls and I loved their chicken chow mein along with their crab rangoons. After trying several places with dissatisfaction, a friend mentioned Canton Palace and to our surprise we have found what we were looking for.
Great affordable lunch and dinner combinations along with friendly service. This has become our go to Chinese place. This isn't fine dining so don't arrive with those expectations. This is your reliable go to Chinese for take out or dine in.
I have been coming here for 16 years! Lunch specials are always cheap. I think $5.95 now. Which comes with egg flower soup & an eggroll before the nicely portioned entree. Their Hawaiian Chicken is to die for! Battered slices of chicken covered in a sweet & sour pineapple sauce. Yum! I never leave unhappy. :)
Solid Chinese food. Ate here while passing through OKC on the strength of Urbanspoon's recommendations and was not disappointed. As other reviewers have noted, the egg rolls are very good. We ordered Almond Chicken and Pepper Tomato Beef, both of which were very good. The restaurant was clean, the service fast and polite, and the atmosphere was calm - no music blasting, which was welcome. Recommended!
Great egg rolls, hong Sui chicken, and egg drop soup. Nice and friendly staff but the prices continue to climb every year and the sweet and sour sauce has changed for the worst in the last 3 months.
Love this place! We've been eating here for 9 years and are never disappointed. The food is very affordable, is made fresh, and always tastes great. The eggrolls are unlike any other I've had. The building and decor are dated, but the food is worth the trip.
Food was delicious. Just found it odd to be served food on these plates. Staff is very friendly. I'll go back again.
Me and my wife have been going here for 10 years and it is still the same great tasting food today that it was back then! Absolutely love canton palace and as a matter of fact I’m on the way to pick some up now! 10 out of 10 best pineapple chicken I’ve ever tasted!
I've been coming here (whenever I'm living in Oklahoma) since the early 90s when I was going to the American Broadcasting School down the street. I brought my wife here recently. It was her first time trying Canton Palace and she loved it. To her, the older look of the restaurant is part of the charm. And the food is very good too! We don't get to Del City very often, but when we do, we come here.
The Hawaiian chicken was the best. I remember going here many times when I was little after baseball games. My family had been going there for years, long before I was born. Thank you guys for all the good food and service over the years. You will be missed. We wish you well.
Been coming here for many many years. Never had a bad meal or service. Food is delivered pretty quick, hot & fresh plus our tea is always refilled before the glass is empty. Great for to-go too!
I love love love this place! They have delicious food and great service. I have been going there since I was a little girl and enjoy their food often. My favorite is the Hawaiian chicken, I also enjoy the chicken lo mein and the egg rolls.
Really good egg rolls and soup. Food tasted fresh and looked great. The sweet and sour sauce is different though, very sweet and not that super red color that is typical. Not that the color was an issue. Friendly staff and clean building.
Actually very good food and the lunch specials run about $6 & the combos run around $10. There's 3 different choices on the combos. A, B, and C. I do know that combo C comes with MooGoo GaiPan, Sweet & Sour Shrimp, Fried Garlic Chicken, Fried Rice, & an Egg roll. The combos also come with Egg Drop Soup, but for take out it costs an extra $1. The atmosphere reminds me of the traditional Chinese restaurants in the movies! They've been open forever. I personally like the Hawaiian chicken, they haven't disappointed me, ever. The crab Rangoon is delicious, also. Tasty
We have been going there for 20 year we have never been disappointed. It's the best Chinese restaurant that we have ever been to. We would never go any place else. The food is wonderful, the portions are large and the price can't be beat. Service is also great you never have to wait. Food comes out fast. I only have wonderful thing to say. The people who gave a bad rating must be crazy. Go there you want be disappointed.
Come with realistic expectations and you'll leave happy. Over 25 years ago my parents would eat here every Friday for lunch. I joined them a couple of times and do believe the interior is exactly the same. It's Americanized Chinese food, meaning heavy on the breading, carrots or watercress in virtually every menu item. If you're wanting to compare it to food you get at some city's Chinatown, will you'll be sorely disappointed. However, if you want to know how Canton Palace stacks up against other places around Oklahoma City for quality, quantity, price or friendliness of the staff, it's a don't-miss hole in the wall my entire family loves.
