We only stopped by for drinks at the bar. Service was okay. She could have been a little bit friendlier and or cheerful but after she found out that we weren't going to order food after I looked over the menu for awhile then I felt that her level of service went down. If I was going to have lunch or dinner, then we wouldn't be sitting at the bar.
So, drinks were very pricey to me. One beer and one mixed drink was just over $20.
I will have to go back to eat one of these days as more than a few menu items look great.
The food is fine but not special. Our server today was…flighty. Lacking situational awareness. The location is great, but I would wish they did not try to reinvent things - for example today - boudin balls with a Parmesan cream sauce and a tomato sauce. The boudin balls were, the presentation just weird
First and foremost, the food was delicious! I had blackened salmon on mashed potatoes and it was incredible... I don't normally eat mashed potatoes, but I eat a lot of salmon and both were amazing.
We had the alligator bites and calamari as appetizers, both were good.
The price was reasonable and the service was fantastic! Our server was a gentleman named Aspen (?)... I could be wrong but I know it was the name of a popular ski location... Anyway, top notch service! He was prompt and totally took care of us, but did not hover.
Ambiance was typical bar/pub but it sits on the canal, so I'm sure it's amazing in the spring/summer to sit on the water.
For the food and service alone, I will be back when I return to Oklahoma City.
The food is absolutely awesome, and the portions of their appetizers are generous enough for two. The staff is incredibly nice and caring, making your dining experience all the more enjoyable. The ambience is perfect, especially when you can snag a seat by the river.
I've been to a lot of places in life and this is by far the top number 3!!!
The Alligator Bites, Crawfish Etouffee, Pineapple Margarita, and Bread Pudding were all amazing!
When I come back to OKC I'll be making sure to visit Bourbon St. Cafe and hopefully bringing friends!!!!
The shrimp and grits were so good I think my spirit left my body for the entirety of the meal. Everyone was very kind and all the food I got to try was fabulous. Be mindful that it might be tricky to park especially if you come on a weekend!
Great service in a cool Louisiana style atmosphere. The seafood saute burst with flavor. The real showstopper is the bread pudding. I am confident the cream sauce was forged in heaven.
Who would have thought there would be a Bourbon St cafe in Oklahoma City complete with Abita beer logos ever where. Well here it is on the canal in Bricktown. We ate outside facing the canal. It was shady and pleasant. Service was excellent. Food was pretty good. Pancakes with sausage were good. The seasoned breakfast potatoes were tasty. Pork belly eggs Benedict and bananas foster were 5 star. All in all a really nice brunch.
We sat outside and got the shareable size hurricane and the Calamari and both were amazing. Music was playing outside and it was nice to sit by the water and listen. It was not as loud and busy as the place across the canal but that made it better for us. A bit pricey but everything in bricktown seems to be.
Our new favorite spot to visit when in town. Live music by Bruce was definitely a highlight. He is extremely talented and brought an incredible diverse listening experience. The food was everything we'd hope it'd be and Amanda did an excellent job serving us. The ambience and decor was a perfect touch. The atmosphere was inviting for all types of patrons, whether a date night, family outing, or group of friends. Indoor and outdoor dining. A perfect Brickown experience.
