Mixed experience.
Service was excellent. Garlic Foccacia was great. Italian salad was delicious (though I regret not getting the anchovies). Both my companions were pleased.
OTOH my veal parm was tough and tasteless. The pasta which accompanied it was watery and overcooked. Disappointed.
Absolutely the best pizza in town! The atmosphere and service are impeccable. Can't wait to try more things on the menu, everything was fast and it was apparent that quality ingredients and a passion for true Italian food are at the heart of this little restaurant.
My favorite pizza in Lafayette. The veal variety dishes are tremendous and prices are reasonable. Love the atmosphere in the evening (romantic and intimate) and the lunch rush, amazingly, provides a social, fast paced "hang out" environment. Service is always professional and personable. I frequent this establishment as often as I can.
Best pizza in town if you are looking for thin and crispy with quality cheese and veggies and meats. The large is twice the size of the average frozen pizza, so at 18 bucks, it's easily enough for 3-5 people. The restaurant is going for a dimmed-light, romantic feel, and I prefer my pizza with beer and TV, but they have a great bar with the local game on, or, if you prefer, takeout, which I highly recommend. It only took them 20 minutes from our phone call to pick up. Really wonderful service once we got there too!
Quality restaurant atmosphere. Had spaghetti. I'm thinking its a northern Italian style sauce. Not the rich flavorful tomato sauce that I prefer. Weaker than a Olive Garden sauce. Won't eat again. I'll try other stuff next time.
Much like my 3rd Girlfriend. Always delightful and you know what you are going to get. The service was great, the young lady was very attentive and came around often to check on us. The only reason I do not give a 5 rating is the place is bit noisy and tonight they had 2 big tables with lots of chatter. The acoustics in the place seems to add to the noise. The food was what you expect from a steady girlfriend which is to say is very good. I always order giovanni calzone, I know boring but its so gooood. The Italian sausage is the very best and the marinara sauce is as good as it gets. The wife had Pasta Fresca with grilled chicken. Fresh diced tomatoes perfectly cooked pasta with garlic flavor made this another dish I might try next time. Overall a pleasant dining experience.
Buonissimo

Great homemade food specials. Good service with nice atmosphere.
New Ownership Changes Antoni's from Good to Great. Pastas, Calzones, Pizzas, Salads - all are top notch. The creamy italian that's on the house salad is my favorite dressing on any salad anywhere. Don't miss the basil chicken salad now available on the night time menu. They've expanded the menu and our waitress this week couldn't have been more helpful.
Never a bad meal. Consistently good; been going for years and never a bad meal. The only time was when we got an burnt pizza. The owner sprung into action and refused to let us eat it. It really was not that bad. He brought us a fresh one tout suite.
Antoni's does not try to re-invent the wheel, so they stick to tried and true recipes. This is reassuring at the end of a long day.
Basil Chicken Salad - YUM!. Loved the Basil Chicken Salad! It was a busy lunchtime crowd, but the service was great. New ownership by a sharp young couple who are maintaining the aspects of the restaurant that have worked well all of these years and changing the few things that haven't. If it ain't broke, don't fix it - smart strategy on their part. Best wishes!
This place is a Lafayette legend, and I can see why. The atmosphere is warm and inviting with a cozy feel. The service is awesome, waiter was very attentive to our every need. The focaccia bread pudding was the standout dish to me.
Great Italian place in town! The service’s top of the notch! Food, drinks, and dessert are amazing!
My husband and I recently revisited Antoni’s Italian Café, and it never fails to impress. While it wasn’t my first time there, it was his, and I was excited to share the experience with him.
He decided to order the lasagna, and I, having been there before, couldn’t resist going for the pasta Fresca once again. As always, the lasagna was a masterpiece of rich, flavorful meat sauce and creamy cheese layers. My pasta Fresca was a testament to their commitment to fresh ingredients, bursting with vibrant flavors.
The ambiance at Antoni’s Italian Café is consistently cozy and inviting, making it the perfect setting for a lovely evening. The staff, even though it was my husband’s first visit, made us feel like valued regulars, providing us with excellent service and helpful menu suggestions.
Now, while we didn’t indulge in dessert this time, I must mention that their tiramisu is to die for, and I highly recommend it for those with a sweet tooth.
Antoni’s Italian Café never disappoints with its authentic flavors and top-notch service. It’s become a favorite spot for us, and we look forward to returning to explore more of their delectable offerings. If you’re in search of a taste of Italy right in town, Antoni’s is the place to be!
This was my first time eating here. The food was absolutely delicious! The service was fantastic. Very professional staff. Friendly and attentive. Value was absolutely in line with the quality of food served. I will definitely be dining here again.
Incredible food! You must try the stuffed mushrooms. It was worth every bite. The ambiance was so cozy and the service was excellent.
We love Antoni’s! The staff including the hostess, servers, owners and managers were all incredible friendly and welcoming.
The food is outstanding and priced fairly for the quality and amount that you get. We enjoyed the meatball appetizer, shrimp asparagus soup (wow!!), steak dinner, a calzone, and bread pudding. All excellent! We’ll definitely be back

This was such an awesome find!!! They were so packed, hence make a reservation, BUT we love sitting at the bar. There we can talk with the bartenders and get alot of information.
I had a chicken dish with artichokes and capers on it....DELISH!! Louis had the meatloaf both were recommended by the bartender and the other by a patron sitting at bar with us.
Cocktails were on point. Prices were in line with other fine restaurants.
Restrooms were well taken care of too.
We didn't order desert because we totally cleaned our delicious dinner plate.
Oh the tomatoe Basil and mozzarella was appetizer was the introduction to their food quality.
Just make sure you call ahead for reservations.
Great staff!
Calzone! Probably the best I've ever had. Not the most authentic Italian joint, but still good food. Table partners had a veggie pizza and a totally custom with anchovies. They loved theirs too! I'd go again.
I absolutely loved Antoni's....the atmosphere, the wait staff....Ryan was fantastic, the food is absolutely amazing and I look forward to going back and trying other items on the menu. We had the stuffed mushrooms, I had the house Italian salad, the bread was so good, my daughter had the Eggplant Parmesan entree and I had the Veal Scallopini with Marsala Mushroom Sauce, veggies and the risotto. Both meals were exceptional, as was the appetizer.
We love Antoni's! I think everyone does. The food is buonissimo! The service is excellent. Make sure you make a reservation because the restaurant is small and popular with the locals.
I was thoroughly impressed by this restaurant and it’s staff! The service I received from the manager and the waitress was memorable! They treat people like they are a value! The food is always phenomenal!
