Probably the best tasting food in Lafayette. A must for either Dine-in at lunch or dinner time. Definitely a place to try because you will be amazed. Not too pricey and every dish is simply delicious (I’ve tried almost everything on the menu)!!! So drop on by for some great food and a relaxing atmosphere. You won’t regret it!!!
Great service the duck Empanadas were delicious! The wife got the rotisserie chicken and I got the red beans and rice and the chicken was so tender I could tear it apart with a spoon. The service was outstanding every question we asked the server came right back with an answer. The wife is allergic to all fruits and vegetables so the manager gave her a menu with what each meal has in it and what she could substitute it with and no restaurant has ever done that for us. We will definitely go back for seconds and thirds and so on!
Excellent food. My favorite is the pesto trout with my chosen sides of corn grits and asparagus. The trout is amazing, crusted in pesto. The grits are wonderful. The asparagus is terrific, roasted with garlic and Parmesan. Service is good and professional (we loved Kristen who served us and she was extremely attentive). The back room is perfect for a meeting of 30 people. They arranged the tables exactly as I asked and there was plenty of space. The room is nicely decorated. It is right off the kitchen for easy staff access, and there is even a private bathroom. There is a great little foyer entering the room as well for sign in sheets or brochures. Perfect for meetings. Would also be perfect for small parties. Staff was very accommodating.
My favorite is the corn grits - a real winner. On the other hand, I have always found the entrees to be somewhat mediocre. No reservations. Seems like always a big crowd with a decent wait on weekend nights.
I love Zea’s! The service is consistently pretty good. They have delicious food and drinks. They also have very healthy options. My favorite salad in town is the strawberry chicken salad from Zea’s! Their loaded hummus is wonderful! Great for a quick lunch, night out, family, or a celebration. One of my favorite restaurants in Lafayette.
Wonderful! Lunch is a bargain. Get the grits. I love the sirloin with mushroom gravy. You can get a very large portion to take home if you can't get enough.
Just like Pavlov's dog, say the words "Roasted Corn Grits" and I start salivating. I know the grits cant be good for your health because they taste sooooo good. So you have to try them even if you are a grits hater (like I was) because these are not ordinary grits. OK on to the rest of the food. I had the Thai Rib Stack, which are short ribs with a sweet spicy soy sauce. They tasted divine and were very tender. The service was quick and very good. Prices are inline with high class restaurants and drink prices were reasonable. Like many of the good places in Lafayette it can get crowded especially on Fridays and Saturdays so you might want to go early if you can. All in all I enjoyed and look forward to going back.
First time here and I found Zea to be a jewel hidden away in Lafayette. Their menu features a good selection of rotisserie foods though some are only available on specific days. I was fortunate to order a Rotisserie braised veal and Lordy it just melted in your mouth. It was succulent and served with a light and delicious glaze. This is a two prong review.
We ordered Zeas using the Waitr app.
I thought the service and speed we exceptional.
I thought the portions on the other hand were smaller than I would have gotten if I was eating in.
The pasta Breaux Bridge was very good and seasoned well.
The ribs were a tad on the tough side unfortunately. But the corn fits and taters were good.
We've been coming to Zea for years, and it never disappoints. The food is always incredibly well done, and we've always had great service. On this particular visit I was craving steak so I went with the Rotisserie Ribeye. It was cooked to a perfect medium rare. The sides were absolutely delicious. Can't ever go wrong with the corn grits here. I had the asparagus, too, which was fresh and oh so yummy. The desserts were standouts, too. The sweet potato bread pudding is my new favorite in town. We also shared cheesecake which was quite good, too. All in all, Zea is a sure bet for good food, service, and atmosphere. You can be comfortable here for a family special occasion or on a date night.
I had the hummus and some sort of shrimp appetizer on a bed of quinoa. Mom had garlic chicken with potatoes and grits. Everything was delicious! Well, the potatoes were just okay, IMO, but everything else we would order again. Staff was friendly. Service was quick.
I have been to this location before. We visited with 4 colleagues for a business dinner. The food is very good quality and tasty. The service was a bit on the slow side.
Enjoyed the food. There was a party with kids that were left to run around with little to no supervision, so that dampened the overall feel but that was not the fault of the restaurant. Our server was attentive. Loved it as usual.
What’s not to like? This was a fantastic meal, the food was absolutely delicious. I said at the bar and place a to go order, and the bartender was over-the-top, helpful and courteous. And the food, while it was far beyond what I expected. I would highly recommend eating here, and I am currently looking for one that is located near my home in Alabama.
Easy to find! Large restaurant with booths or tables , nice bar area with seating at bar, or tables, plenty parking with a few outdoor tables/chairs and umbrellas!

We recommend Zea Rotisserie. Great atmosphere and great food. Overall great experience for us. Had the signature Thai Ribs and Asian Almond Shrimp with classic cheese cake for dessert and I was very happy with all 3. I'm very picky with my shrimp and dessert and I was very impressed with both.

The food is consistently excellent at the locations that we visit.
We didn’t have to wait to be seated.
We had the Mediterranean Hummus and could have made a meal just eating that by itself.
From the children’s menu we selected the child’s fried chicken breast strips and a side of roasted corn grits. They were a hit!
Adults selected the 1/2 rotisserie chicken with the sweet chili glaze. Side were roasted corn grits, Thai snap beans, and mashed sweet potatoes. Everything was seasoned well and sufficiently warm.
We had leftovers to heat up to enjoy later.
The food was delivered in a timely manner.
The server was friendly and helpful.
Zea's was a good idea for a Sunday lunch with friends. We did not make a reservation, however, we quickly got a table. The service was good and the menu was exciting. We got the Rotisserie quesadilla, Rotisserie chicken with Sweet Chili glaze - the sweet chili sauce was good, it was sweet with a hint of spice. The Casablanca Chicken had fresh Hummus with sundried tomatoes, almonds, feta cheese and pita bread - it was fresh and I liked the hummus. My favourite was Asian Almond shrimp - the honey ginger chili sauce was really good and it's worth trying. Overall, good service and good food.
I'm visiting from Texas and this was the best food experience I've had in Louisiana by far! Great atmosphere as well! The Thai ribs were top notch, but the shrimp and grits were mind blowing. Every bite was like heaven. I highly recommend!
