Seeing the candy cane making process was mind-blowing! 🍭
We took the seasonal tour and learned a lot about the history of the business, candy cane and how it is made. We even got to shape our own to take home. 🎄
The tour cost $7 as part of a field trip.
They also have a large menu for breakfast and lunch for this small corner business. Not to mention all the candy and ice cream available for purchase. 🍦🍬🍫
The place is adorable and the staff was quite friendly, entertaining and knowledgeable... altho thruout the presentation they did "complain" several times about aspects of their job. 👩🍳
I went in expecting to find candy and more candy but ended up enjoying a delicious lunch! Their food menu is surprising! Was the burger anything incredible? This isn't an artisan burger shop. But it was relatively cheap and still quite delicious.
While back in Indiana we had to stop at our favorite candy store. The new owners are very friendly and excited to keep the traditions as well as add some creative twists. The buck eye candies were super creamy and just as I remembered, but the cashew turtles stole the show. Can't wait to visit again when we are back in the area!
Always a pleasure to stop in for a real old-fashioned soda! They still mix the syrup and carbonated water by hand! Delicious homemade candy and the staff is always a notch above! I love supporting this family owned local business!
One of a couple of shops in the United States that makes homemade candy canes at Christmas time. The carmel corn is fresh and people have to put it in there trunk to make it home.
Employees there were incredibly friendly and humored me on my weird drink idea. Root beer, cinnamon, and marshmallow. Kinda tastes like a well iced cinnamon roll. I definitely wanna go back.
I used to go there everyday after work. Great people…even the new owners. Super nice. Great products as well. Absolutely zero complaints as far as the people and environment and quality. Highly highly recommend!!! They definitely deserve peoples business.
So far I have only experienced one down side though. It randomly closes on weekdays during the middle of the day, I’m not sure why. But it will say it’s open online. It has made me a smidge hesitant going there considering I walk so I would definitely recommend not going there without calling first. If I catch a trend as far as the days they do this I’ll update the post.
