We had a great time at Wicket Barley. There is a sand pit for the kids to play in, covered tables to sit outside and a dock to park your boat if you decide to travel that way. At the time we went there was live music. The wait staff were friendly but didn't overwhelm you with visits to the table. The food came out incredibly fast and delicious. No wrong or forgotten orders. The atmosphere was laid back and chill. Families can go here without feeling like they are disturbing someone else. I highly recommend it.
The beer and the food were delicious! I had the 32217 Hefeweizen and it was super drinkable! I got the Pecan Encrusted Goat Cheese Salad ($15). It was very filling and fresh! I also tried the Roasted Basil Chicken Salad ($15) and it was also very tasty! The inside is pretty spacious, and the outside is beautiful, with a tent and cafe lighting, looking out at the river! Service was great! Highly recommend! Lots of TVs to watch sports. Parking is somewhat limited, so get there early!
Small parking lot packed on a weekend afternoon, so, plan accordingly. They seated and served me quickly and attentively despite that. Menu is digital and my phone wasn't working, so you might need to access their free wifi. Paper menu arrived eventually, if you ask for one. Food very good, moderately priced. A bit warm inside and out, but their shady back yard helps. Covered dining outside, a bar, sand pit with chairs and a dock leading to the very scenic creek. Bathroom small but adequate.
Great beers and seltzer! Food is also good but a tad on the salty side. When we were there it was quite warm inside as if the AC was limping. Outside grounds are really neat.
We meet this brewery at the Jacksonville Naval Base when they were at, "Brews, Blues and BBQ". Came out to support them. Blown away! Our server, Chance, was wonderful. We had gotten a coupon for a free flight so started with that and the pretzel. Chose our favorites, Cider Mosa and Argument Starter. I got the Portabella Flat bread sandwich, hubby got the Wicked Burger. My sandwich was the most amazing thing I have ever had with Portabella! Added a can of All Blue (tried at the naval base) and Left Leg to take home. The vibe, the service, the food, the brews...⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Great atmosphere and location. Easy to park. Love the little pier by the river.
You can eat or just go for a beer (or a cider), remove your shoes, sit, and relax with your feet in the sand to disconnect from the world. Life band with a good repertory of music. Servers are super friendly. Love the fact you can sit in or outdoors, and no one is pushing you to eat and leave.
This is my first time here. Came with friends and had a good time. We ordered nearly most of the appetizers. They all were delicious. Great atmosphere. Has indoor and outdoor eating areas. I will definitely return.

We enjoyed our Sunday afternoon visit, it was the first time we have ever gone there. We ate our food inside and then went outside to enjoy the Reggae Sunday Live music.
This place totally exceeded our expectations. The atmosphere is very cool, right on the water. And the food is absolutely amazing. I had the pork belly fries and they were delicious, and a full meal in themselves. All of the burgers looked great and there were so many choices. Of course the beer is exceptional as well. Our server, Victoria, was very attentive and helpful. I'll never understand how they do it without writing it down. She got everything right and was very friendly.
Very hardworking staff, they really give A+ service. Always excellent food that fresh and fast despite being busy. Family friendly ambiance with indoor restaurant and outdoor casual space with a dock, sand area for kids, and outdoor bar plus dining area.
