We've been eating at this location since it opened, and before that, the one on Enota, and before that, the one on Brown's Bridge Rd. We personally don't like any other Tex-Mex restaurant than El Sombrero! If any one claims they waited too long for a table, maybe that's because they are use to eating at crappy places that has not much Business! Bottom line, El Sombrero is Gainesville's favorite number one casual restaurant!

Our server wasn't that great,she didn't check on us. A different person brought our food..but the food was amazing! We got taco bowls. I had steak, my husband had beef. We got the cheese fries and it was so delicious!

Not the best Mexican cuisine I've had, but consistency is king here. Kind staff always, and the food is always good. 4 stars from me.
