Patticakes is one of those places I did not expect to be drawn back to again and again when I saw it from outside the first time. But, their coffee has got me hooked. And as you can expect they have fantastic cupcakes, and other desserts too. Try out the scones, they are the not too sweet buttery goodness kind! They have outdoor seating which faces the plaza outside and is perfect if you plan to spend some time reading or working.
Great scones and coffee. The quiche was wonderful. Earlier the music was a bit loud for my studies but they eventually turned it down. The location is really convenient. Don't know how lunch fares. Stop by!
Great location downtown, things are always happening at both didley plaza, where Patticakes is located. From farmer's markets to drum circles, not including the concerts. So there is plenty to watch as you sit at your table and enjoy a coffee in a mug and a fresh cupcake. Little hot for coffee? They also have cold beer! Vegan options too!

Every time I come in I try a different drink and I've never been disappointed. I enjoy interacting with the staff and I am happy to recommend that everyone try this place out.
First time customer, very pleasant experience with staff. I had a cafe con leche and everything bagel while seated inside, very quiet and comfy setting. I also tried the cupcakes, the black tie was a hit with my daughter...she loves chocolate and I loved the red velvet very moist. Will come again. Would recommend.
Patticakes never fails to impress. The cupcakes are decadent, the Cuban espresso drinks are so yummy, and if you’re looking for a quick bite you can’t go wrong with a bacon quiche! Everything on the menu is delicious, but my favorite thing about Patticakes is the community. The staff are exceptionally friendly and there’s no better place to take in all Bo Diddley Plaza has to offer than a seat by the bar (and if you ask nicely, they’ll help you open those spectacular garage-windows!)
