Many of the pictures on here are old. Unfortunately they discontinued dine in during the pandemic. The food is awesome, call ahead it will be ready when you get there. One of my favorite Asian restaurants outside of Asia Town.
I love cultural cuisines and I have been around many cities and states to taste. I can confidently say that SunSun Restaurant is THEE BEST Chinese/Asian cuisine in the city! They are definitely a diamond in the rough. Much love from me and my family to yours.
We tried crab rangoon, sweet and sour chicken, general tso chicken and the deep fried biscuits. The portions were huge and everything was delicious -- the biscuits tasted like donuts! I'm happy we were able to try something that was still open late on a Sunday when most other chinese places were closed.
Best egg drop soup I have had. Contained bamboo chutes, carrot and green onion. The orange chicken was a little tame compared to others I have had and the rib tips were ok. The crab rangoon was so fresh and crispy, it was delicious even without the dipping sauce. Definitely a 4 out of 5 experience. Anyone expecting larger portions for these prices is only eating at drive through. These prices are great compared to what else is out there.
my boyfriend and I love sunsun! It's a staple in our household! The owner and his wife are the nicest people we've met and they make an amazing curry chicken!
The pictures on their website are deceiving.. The pork fried rice has only pork.. No onion, no nothing.. That was disappointing.. The egg rolls were ok.. I've had better but I've had much worse.. Tiny little steamed dumplings but they were good.. Their sweet n sour sauce was really good.. The egg foo yung was really good, nice gravy to it.. The sweet and sour pork was ok, not huge chucks and not tiny pieces and it was tender.. Overall I might order again but I would get fried rice from somewhere else..
I order most of my take out from here. I love the variety and the promptness of service
The entire family loves sun sun... the rice is awesome... we sometimes order for big groups.. 20 -50 people... and it's always 💯 % delicious... thank you sun sun.. we ❤️ that restaurant.... 😍
Beautiful young lady always happy and greets everyone beyond good food. It's always amazing. Young lady brought my food to the car hot fresh delicious
I love this restaurant. I ordered take out for work lunch. I picked it up and when I walked in it was very clean inside. The lady who handed me my order was super friendly! The food was awesome.
