My favorite pizza in Cleveland. This is still American-style pizza - if you're looking for thin crust Neapolitan style cooked at 1000 degrees, head elsewhere. But this is miles better than any chain pizza place. Excellent crust with a good balance of crispiness and chewiness with just a little bit of char on the bottom from being cooked in a real oven rather than a conveyor belt. Sauce and toppings are all high quality.
Fresh and friendly! !! Ordered the white artichoke with black olives and it was the best pizza ever. Ordered a regular red sauce with pepperoni and Canadian bacon and my kids raved over it!!!! Very good! Forgot to say, I even ate the crust!!! I never eat the crust! Ever!
Valentino's is my favorite pizza place in Little Italy. They use quality ingredients; the cheese and tomatoes are fresh and taste great. The owner is very nice too, one of the times I went there he gave me a free slice of pizza while I was waiting for my pizza. The subs there are also good, and a good value too. Their large subs are good enough for two meals and are under $8. All in all, good service, and good food. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.
Amazing locally owned pizza shop. Great owners , great food.. you HAVE to try the salad dressing . House made by the wife, fantastic. I always ask for extra. The pizza is out of this world. You can watch Mike make it from scratch. Good people, GREAT food. Subs pizza pasta salads, all amazing.
Best pizza in town! There's something special about the crust and the tomato sauce that I haven't tasted anywhere else. The eggplant parmesan dinner is also an excellent choice. I highly recommend checking out Valentino's if you're in the area.
A frequent first choice of my beloved for our lunch together on a workday. Be it on their patio in season, or their tasty takeout-- the food is great, the workers friendly, and the cost does not break the bank. In fact, I'll head there as soon as I send this review to pick up our lunch for today: white pizza with herself's favorite toppings. Her review? "Yum!!?
Great pizza and great location for pizza in Cleveland, Little Italy. Everytime I come home to Cleveland to visit i try to grab a pie from here. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable given that's its a small mom and pop enterprise that has been in business for quite some time.
There is a debate in our house over which pizza is better: Valentino's or Marotta's. I am in the Valentino's camp. I would describe the tomato sauce as "tangy." If to you, that equals acidic, you may not like their pizza. But the crust is crisp, and the mozzarella is good, overall the pizza has a somewhat smoky flavor, and I like the tangy sauce. I have never once had bad service there, and a large cheese pizza costs $9, which I think is quite reasonable. Mike, the owner, is friendly, and in fact once simply gave me two pizzas because their credit card reader was down. When we have visitors in from out of town, and order out for pizza, it is always Valentino's, and they always like it.
Their pizza - wow! I normally don t like the crust too much but jeez this stuff is soo good. The crust is PERFECT and it s so crunchy! The cheese tastes very good and fresh.
The staff is very nice and its a relaxed place.
Very pleased with this pizzeria. They are conveniently located within delivery to Cleveland Clinic Hospital, an area we frequent for community outreach with our foundation. A big thanks to Mike and everyone else! The pizza, pasta, salad, and meatballs were excellent and priced fantastic. We will be in touch again soon.
