What a great gem in the city of Cleveland.
This place is really cool on the inside. Very spacious. There is plenty of seating on the inside and they have a large beer garden on the outside.
Great selection of beers from your darks, fruit sours and everything in between. They have a beer for everybody's taste.
They also serve food. Not an extensive menu but if you're hungry the food is very good. Try the chili if it's on the menu.
Parking can be a bit of a hassle during the busy hours but well worth the visit.
Had our wedding reception here and it was so much fun! They were extremely easy to coordinate our wedding logistics with and gave us pretty much free rein of the place. Would highly recommend forest city to host your events!
Located near Columbus and Abbey Ave and in between Tremont and Ohio City, the Forest City Brewery “beer garden” includes a large dining room and huge back patio where live bands play regularly. Also pictured below is their Sauerkraut & Kielbasa Platter including the optional traditional pierogies. #pmhthelife
Grab an awesome beer created by Brewmaster, Matt Smedley and take a walk around Forest City Brewery. I included photos of how the place is decorated. You have to visit in person to enjoy the full experience. Great beers, unique atmosphere, good food and live music. I want to make a road trip back to experience the beer garden during warm weather. I also like that you have King Ludwig Hefeweizen on tap after being told the beer garden here is one of the oldest beer gardens in Cleveland. Nice staff.
If you want outdoor seating this the place. Huge space with ample seating inside and out. I got the black IPA and it was delicious.

For a place that is small on the outside, but as you enter through the doors, it so much bigger than you realize. They have food and a full bar for people who like drinks other than beer.
So much fun with awesome beer brewed by the head brewer Matthew Smedley. I love the coffee porter! Lots of selection and the beer garden is reminiscent of any Key West Bar. The band, Hot Club of Cleveland, played some wonderful tunes!
Named after Cleveland's original nickname, this brewery stands out by having the most laid-back, welcoming atmosphere of all the fine breweries in and around the city. It's kinda' like if your kids had turned your old pole barn into clubhouse with stuff the scrounged from the neighborhood.
I was apart of a bridal party where our original venue lost power and we were scrambling last minute to find somewhere to host our reception. Forest City took in 150 of us that day. They made sure they had adequate staffing to properly serve all of us. They truly made our night special and one we will never forget. Thank you, Charlie! Also the beer and food was delicious and the bartenders were incredible!
