We had the West Ashley Roll it was very fresh and the orange chicken with special fried rice. You can just taste the goodness and freshness of the food. And the service was superb! Our waitress I believe her name was Jayden ? I'm sorry I forgot but she was just the sweetest girl!! Her service + the tasty food definitely will make me go back to eat again.
Very pricy. 15$ lunch specials. 10$ Asian import kirin beer. nice ambiance with comfortable subdued lighting. very clean restroom. Very happy staff. Large sushi bar and plenty of seating. Lots of Asian choices from Japanese to Thai. Not sure what country I chose but probably just American/Asian fusion. Getting the password for WiFi was a bit of a challenge. Got sweet and sour/spicy a little stir fry with vegetables and no rice. Pretty tasty, vegetables not over cooked. A comfortable safe choice for anyone that hasn't actually had good Asian cuisine overseas. Only drawback is no option for keto only eaters as I could get no substitute for the rice offered but in wanted. For this price I should have gotten something.
This place is awesome, never takes long to get your food and the waitresses are always pleasant. The atmosphere in the bar area is very intimate with very romantic, low lighting even during lunch hours. The food is delicious and the owner is very pleasant, even came to ask how we enjoyed our food. While eating, there was a girl who came in for a takeout, but decided to eat at the bar after she ate most of her food she started complaining it wasn’t very good and did not want to pay. The owner was Very accommodating to her. Ask if she wanted anything different but she only wanted the mill to be free so it’s nice that he was. He did not charge her. It is a shame that people like her take advantage of nice people like him.

The sushi bar rocks.
Absolutely adore this place. The atmosphere from when you walk in is warm, welcoming and professional. The booth seats were incredibly comfortable and lighting was unique. Our server was wonderful and he carefully went through the menu and recommended some things. The food was top notch and delicious. Not to mention their presentation of their food made this place feel like a very high end restaurant. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a filling dinner or for the couple looking for a nice date.
This is "Must" visit place. Excellent food and atmosphere. Bar is elegant, and the setting is perfect for a date night. Great value for the entire experience. Not everything is raw. $$$
This place was great. They were able to get us a seat right away for a party of 9. Food was amazing. Service was great. Couldn't ask for better.
A friend & I came to Zen for lunch. I've been there many times when they first opened, but was surprised she'd liked it as she's a picky eater LOL. I love the large portions, enough for dinner later. There was more wait staff than necessary that day, but I guess better more than less. The food was good. My lunch of shrimp lo mein came to $16. My friend's $30 with her Orange Chicken, a drink & 6 wing appetizers she took home to her grandson. Perfect for one on one meeting as the atmosphere wasn't loud. There's handicapped parking. The doors are a bit heavy, as I heard an elderly woman state while leaving. PS - Sushi bar is still there.
Food was delicious 🤤 the sushi 🍣 was perfect, and fresh made to order. Sesame chicken was chucks of white chicken with the best sauce. Service could be a little bit better.
The most enjoyable part of tonight's dinner, aside from the excellent meal, was the level of attention I received from the General Mgr, Francis. I came in fresh off the road for a biz trip and was gonna take my food to go. Francis slowed me down and suggested I sit down for dinner despite closing within the next 27 minutes. I really appreciated that. My server Jalen was equally kind and attentive. Sometimes, it's not about the food but the experience. I've passed by Zen Asian Fusion many times. So glad I stopped by tonight.
